This is a lovely place to stay. If we come to this area again, we will for sure book here again. As others have said, the ladies running it are as lovely as can be. And yes, they really will wash your clothes. Breakfast was great. Eggs any way you want them. Toast and pastries. And tons of fruit. Mangos, watermelon, pineapple, and a couple more. It will for sure fill you. The the hotel is an old Thai style. The stairs are too steep. But you won't care. The things that matter are all there. A very comfortable mattress, clean bathroom, and large rooms. Water pressure can be low in prime time. But can be cured by adjusting your shower time a little earlier or later. Bathrooms are large. Whatever little small faults it may have, you won't care at all, because of the loveliness of the ladies running it. And they took us to the bus stop after checking out without us asking. Directed us to the right massage. And a good scooter rental. If you book, I'm sure that you will want to return also.

First let me clarify the only reason I didn’t give this great stay a 5 then I’ll agree with most reviews that the management here is very generous with EVERYTHING. My room which faced west was super hot in the evening. The a/c unit struggled to produce any relief and the next day I popped the cover revealing two filters clogged with dirt, apparently for a very long time. I cleaned the filters and reinstalled them and the unit worked great. I wanted to volunteer to check the other units in the hotel but the manager was always busy playing shuttle driver for the Euro guests. Hopefully connected to the hotel will see this and address the issue. Free laundry was something I have never seen anywhere in the world and that was a big deal to me. The lead housekeeping girl did my laundry, cleaned my room and cooked my breakfast. I saw that same huge responsibility one time before in Vietnam; one woman did everything. I really hope management is taking care of these overworked women. The only time they smiled was when I was stuffing tips in their pockets. I love the service but I feel bad for them. Yes one of the managers, (I never received any introductions although one woman knew my name) I thought the other woman was a guest because I never saw her do anything in a work capacity; in fact when I was checking out she was asleep in the lobby and never acknowledged me. It was very strange. Ownership but zero participation. The other woman definitely bent over backwards for her guests. The Euro’s were constantly asking for rides here and there. I was offered rides to the beach more than once but I prefer to walk for exercise. Thai women don’t get that. They’ll drive across the street for a quart of milk before they walk. So my independence received some snickering, that’s fine; cultural differences. The breakfast here was included and although not the most amazing free breakfast I had in my 7 weeks traveling, it was free. An assortment of very tasty fresh breads & pastries and more fruit than I would want to eat in a week. Once again the servers who do everything were so hardworking and polite. As soon as a sat down with my coffee the lead girl was asking how I wanted my eggs; they were very serious about their work; I never once saw a girl hiding with a phone in her hand like you unfortunately see too much of in America. I would have liked some meat with my breakfast but they were pushing fruit here. For the service you receive here you definitely get your money’s worth. I can’t see anyone being disappointed. One last point that was an issue was guests coming in late (around midnight) entire euro families screaming in the halls and continuing in their room. I don’t understand how people can be raised to act like that. No consideration for the other guests. Rude, obnoxious and inconsiderate. Pretty sure they just received their free ride from management so they were feeling extra entitled. Some people shouldn’t travel. Recommend the hotel for hardworking ded

Merci Merci merci. Benjamin, Hélène et théo

Thai hospitality at its best. Stayed a week here, it's in a central location but quiet. Nam was the perfect host, spoke brilliant English and was so happy and funny. Kai the owner was lovely too and ran us to a couple of different beaches. Breakfast was amazing. So many exotic fresh fruits. The room was spacious and comfortable with kettle , coffee, fridge, hairdryer, tv, fan, air con. We said we're glad we travel on a budget as you just wouldn't get this atmosphere in a stuffy, soul less 5 star. It's unbelievable good value, if you're thinking of it, just book it, you'll not regret it. Unbelievable value for money.

An absolute gem of a place made even better with a superb host named Nam. She cannot do enough for her guests. Full of humour, laughter and so welcoming. Unbelievable value for money. £24 per room per night, huge bed, great balcony, toiletries provided, fee use of beach towels and free laundry service. Breakfast is fantastic - huge amount of fresh fruit served. Pastries, bread, jam, cereals, eggs prepared anyway you want! Highly recommend - we loved our 2 nights here. Thank you to Nam and the boss lady Kai.
