Super beautiful complex surrounded by tropical plants and palm trees. Bungalows are very large and furnished in a typically Thai style. Lots of German holidaymakers and a lot of things are explained in German. If you are looking for peace and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you!

The location and the atmosphere of the room were great, but perhaps because of the coronavirus, there were few guests, no gym or restaurant, and I was expecting a buffet breakfast, but since there were no guests, it was a menu breakfast, and I was a little disappointed. Did.

Highly recommend this overlooked resort. We chose this resort due to changing dates from Ramada. We could not have been happier. The bungalow we stayed in was divine. Everything was so beautifully decorated with traditional touches. The rooms and services were impeccable. Fantastic location with easy walk to restaurants. 2 beautiful large pools were available, and during our stay no one used the larger middle pool. Cannot recommend this resort enough. You won’t regret booking this gorgeous resort.

Absolutely perfect Hotel.. Yes I would agree with some of the reviews that say it could do with a refurb however.. When in Rome .. Rustic in places however frankly we prefer this to a plastic Hotel when in a Tropical Climate. Location .. Perfect.. on the beach and only 10 mins in a Tuk to White Sand and Coconut Beach (our favourites).. 5 Min walk into Bang Niang with great Bars, Restaurants etc. Staff .. Superb.. Smiles and always helpful.. Many thanks to all at Mukdara.. we will be back soon.

This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds on the beach front with easy access to bars and restaurants. Breakfast is varied with a mixture of Thai and western dishes and is served in full view of the sea and beach which is very peaceful and relaxing. There is an egg station but it can get very busy at times when the restaurant is full but there was never any problems in getting a table. The juices although refreshing appear to be more like cordial than fresh fruit juice and coffee is brought round by the staff who will refill your cup when necessary. There are several pools on the grounds and lots of sun beds to choose from. I did note however that people were claiming sun beds early in the morning which is unusual for Thailand. The centre pool is massive and ideal for swimming. The rooms are a little dated in dark wood Thai style but are comfortable, quiet and the air conditioning is good. The staff are all very helpful and appear happy in their work. There is a safe in the room and a balcony with two comfortable chairs. There is daily maid service but it appeared to be quite late in the day sometimes when we had retired to the room for a rest.

Fantastic location, quiet and spacious. Only a short walk to bars and restaurants. Staff are fantastic and helpful. As it was off season breakfast was a la carte and very good. Ample food and choice. Pool is superb. Had a late flight and staff arranged a room for a late shower to freshen up. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we return.

We spent 3 days as a holiday within a holiday and i can honestly say this was the most memorable experience. A beautiful complex with amazing staff who can not do enough for you, its clean well run and so amazingly relaxing. A few bars and restaurants near by but the the hotel restaurant is a must visit serving some amazing food. We will definatley be visiting next year for a longer stay as our main holiday. Loved this place, a definate recommend for anyone who is after a little slice of paradise at a reasonable cost.

I find it difficult writing this particular post, but I feel it has too be written.. 3rd time staying at this hotel.. But it will definitely be THE last time we book to stay here.. In past stays, the staff were very attentive when serving at the breakfast area and bar... And I don't mean bring me this or that in a subservient manner... No, I mean just understanding if we would like our tea replenished without walking around too find a member of staff.. Or sit in bar area for a short time, and staff ignoring up because they were doing other things.. Was this because of less staff? Lack of staff training? Ir just total ignorance? Havnt a clue, so I cant answer the questions either.. At breakfast, many individuals were taking foid on a plate too their room or the seafront bungalows.. But when I walked out with a few pastries, one of the illusive staff, came running out too me and told me I cant do that, I explained others were doing it so what cant I? Staff just weren't bothered.. As for whats available for breakfast? Not a great selection available and that's not fair when you're paying for it as part if your package. I went too front reception and asked for an explanation, never heard anything back..yet it continued too happen everyday.. So, now too beachpool .. This small pool wasn't very clean..it was merky in colour.. The one handrail was literally coming out of the ground as you touched it..rust was evident around the edge of the pool.. Now for main pool.. The pool was clean.. But some of the edges had weeds and grass around it... Really..is that how it should be.? At this pool is a large bar..last stays here it was open and served drinks during certain times of the day.. This time it was totally closed up..So you take in paying guest and promote this hotel in various sites used for searching such hotels and what you book simply doesn't exist in regards amenities.. The gym area didn't have any water machine..why? I am sorry, but we felt so underwhelmed on this stay, so worthless as paying customers, that we cut our stay short and move too another hotel.. And too top it all off, because we hadn't notified them that we were checking out 5nights early, they wanted to charge us a SURCHARGE for doing so...we will NOT book too stay here ever again.. The staff put reserved place signs on certain tables, they made up beds fir certain people.. Mmmm...something didn't add up

With a couple of friends we spent a week in this magnificent hotel. The rooms are spacious, very well maintained, the bedding very comfortable. The hotel gardens, the 3 swimming pools, the restaurant and the common areas are impeccable. The hotel has direct access to the sea, without however having a beach (there is a riprap and a drop in level on the seafront). You have to move 50 meters to get to the sand. Numerous deckchairs shaded by parasols and/or coconut trees are available. The hotel is remarkably calm, without music or incessant entertainment: ideal for resting, but harmful if you want to party or take care of children. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from multiple restaurants, bars, shops, massage parlor, taxi rank, etc. Ideal for going out easily. The staff is very helpful and available to customers. The very generous and varied breakfast (but identical dish throughout the week). We truly had an unforgettable stay.

A very large complex by the sea. We had a garden bungalow. Awesome! Breakfast lots of choice. Excellent swimming pool. Unfortunately, people are going to reserve their beds. Unfortunately, there is little shade at the restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. English very limited. Many restaurants within walking distance and a tuk tuk to the night market

Second time in Thailand. The first was in 1818, we stayed at a hotel of a slightly higher category in Karon. I liked it better here in Mukdara. Quieter, calmer, the hotel is on the first coastline, it has its own wooden, but at the same time soft sun loungers that stand under palm trees. There are many times fewer people. Mostly older German and English couples, a few Russian-speaking families, not many children. Outside the hotel there is everything you need: cafes, shops, pharmacies... In general, the hotel makes a good impression: everything is done well, the area is green, and quite beautiful. Breakfast is good. It's the same thing every day, but there's a lot of choice. What was disappointing was the lack of a coffee machine. The area is green. From the balcony of the room you can see palm trees, and chipmunks, squirrels and various birds running on them and singing beautifully. What we didn’t like: There is a feeling of some abandonment - when we arrived no one greeted us, when they called the staff, the girls from the reception ran out to help us with our suitcases :))) that is, there are no porters. Then the girl brought the suitcases into the room (I kept looking for where the elevator was, but I couldn’t find it😳, did she really drag them up the stairs herself)... Where there should have been a water cascade (at the entrance), there is an artificial lawn. There are even a couple of abandoned buildings, such as shops and a congress hall. The room requires cosmetic repairs: the doors still open with a key, the air conditioner is old, noisy and unregulated (either turn it off completely or freeze). True, all the furniture and flooring are made of natural wood, everything is solid and will last forever. We had 2 rooms almost on the road and it was noisy in them a couple of evenings, and on New Year's Eve the music from the neighboring bar thundered until 5 in the morning. It is clear that this is not a complaint about the hotel, but if you sleep lightly, ask for a room/bungalow away from the road. We celebrated New Year here. The dinner was plentiful and tasty, but there was no entertainment program. Slurred dancing on a stage that was hard to see, Thai boxing in the pool, and live music all evening. The group was not bad - they sang well, they even sang a song in Russian, for which they are respectable, but considering the complexity of our language, there was no energy. I didn't want to dance to them. In the next department, however, there was action: fireworks and sellers of paper lanterns and fireworks, bombs and fiery music.
