Again as others have stated we booked this as a TUI Blue hotel, and it changed a few weeks before we arrived. Firstly let me say the hotel is stunning, and the ambience of the place is fabulous, the staff are very friendly and nothing seemed like to much trouble too them. We had a great holiday for the 13days we were here, we chose the AI model which we kind of knew wasn't the way to go, but 1st time in Thailand we were a little nervous about things. We arrived early (9am), and check in wasn't until 12 noon, which wasn't an issue, they dispatched us to breakfast, and upon return our swim up room was ready, the reception staff, showed us to our room and the room was very spacious and all was good. Breakfast - buffet style with fruit, pastries, omelettes, cheeses, hams, along with some interesting options, of Thai curries, and other international dishes. (too early for curry IMHO) Lunch - ala-carte menu style with lots of choice with Thai dishes mixed with international options. Dinner - ala-carte menu style, a few differences from lunch. Ala- carte restaurant (once per week per stay) extended menu more options, extremely quiet in there. All the food was of a good standard, but by the end was very repetitive, we did venture out a couple of times which broke things up a bit. We did 3 trips offered from the reception within the hotels, which proved good value which included lunch and soft drinks all day. We did use the onsite gym just for a little exercise, facilities ok Entertainment - well there was aqua aerobics, but pretty much that was it apart from a fire show. Positive points - low season very quiet so no queueing etc, hotel is stunning, staff really friendly, food very nice Negative points - We found the bar open hours very strange, never been to an AI before where the bar opens at noon, and closes at 10.30pm. seems a bit stingy tbh. We'd of preferred lunch to be a buffet style so we could sample small portions of the different curries and flavours and then maybe had a bit more of the ones we liked. A little livelier on an evening would of been nice, it was extremely quiet with barely any entertainment on offer. And finally we did get eaten alive by the local insect population, we tried all sorts but nothing seemed to make a difference, and we did wonder whether the hotel were fogging as we've seen in other resorts around the world, not sure it was helped by the cutting down of the foliage around us.
