In Phang Nga. The drive from the airport is more than 300 RMB. The hotel can add airport pick-up and drop-off to the package. The reception at the hotel entrance was very warm as soon as I got off the car. I felt at home. The service was very warm and comfortable throughout the whole process. The hotel is very comfortable and quiet as a whole. The room has a balcony pool, and there is also an infinity pool by the sea outdoors. The facilities inside the hotel are very ordinary. It is a hotel for lying flat. I didn't leave the hotel for 2 days. I ate, drank, defecated and urinated in the hotel. It was very comfortable. Even if the SPA was very poor. The cost performance was not high. 2000 baht per person, the masseur's strength and technique were not good.

Was so impressed with this hotel 5 years ago that we returned again in October 2023 and they gave us the same room we occupied before. This was a water pool access room which is a must if you stay here. The rooms are large with a massive bed and has all the facilities you could wish for. Although we did no eat our main meals in the Italian restaurant we had breakfast which covers all variety of foods and freshly cooked eggs and bacon on request. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful. A particular mention to Tounchai the barman who served us daily at the pool bar during Happy hour with delicious cocktails. Also to the maid (sorry can't remember her name) who cleaned our room 1123 and left wonderful creations on our bed. The hotel is situated within 5 minutes walk from the beach and close to many bars and restaurants. Bang Niang Market which is 2 mins walk is open every Mon, Weds, Thur and Sat which does street food and has many stalls. The Waters is highly recommended.

This is our 3rd time stay at La Flora, This time we stayed here for 3 nights from 17-20 May 2023, Everything excellence as always, the room was spacious and comfortable with high quality cleaning. The breakfast here was so good with many choices and also testy, the staff very attentive and provided excellent service especially ladies who clear up our table. Special thank to front team and appreciated with very kind for upgrading our room, and surprise birthday cake with beautiful bed decoration which made our stay very very special. Over all very impressive, Look forward to staying for the 4th and next, next, next time!!!

We spent 10 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect for our needs! An utterly beautiful hotel with clean rooms and facilities and the kindest, most helpful staff I've ever come across in a hotel. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with direct access to the 2.4km pool - this was a great feature and it felt like we had a bit of private pool whilst being able to swim all the way to the main pool. The pool also adds to the feeling that you're in a village community rather than a commercial hotel, as we made friends with our ”neighbours” and would see them from time to time when we were out swimming. The hotel's beach is clean and stunning, the sun beds are thickly padded and comfortable, and we made use of the bodyboarding and kayaking equipment on our stay. The restaurants at the hotel were incredible! The main ones are Ta-Krai (Thai), Sakura (Japanese), and Olive (Italian). Before arriving I was a bit sceptical at how authentic the restaurants would be but the hotel has ensured they've brought in the best chefs who could bring authentic cuisine to Khao Lak. The sushi at Sakura was probably the freshest and tastiest I've ever had (albeit, I've not been to Japan yet, but it's still better than all the London sushi places where we live and even better than Nobu). We loved Olive restaurant too, in particular their Sunset BBQ evening where you're spoilt for choice on meats, seafood, sides, salads, and a full-on Italian cheese and ham bar with really delicious, authentic selections. Chef Enzo there was dishing out cheeses to us and making recommendations what to pair each cheese with and was so helpful (and the cheeses were incredible). We opted for the Breakfast and Dinner package and we're really glad we did as we loved going back to those restaurants over the 10 days. For lunch we'd eat at the hotel cafes, or out at excursions, or at local restaurants adjacent to the hotel, such as Phen's (delicious!). We also bought a spa package at Quan Spa in the hotel and booked in lots of treatments throughout our stay. The spa is beautiful and the massage therapists were excellent; it's a bit pricier than outside the hotel but the spa environment is worth it for that luxe feeling (and still cheaper than in the UK!). Overall, I don't think we found and faults with our stay at JWM and we will definitely come back in the future, perhaps for our anniversaries! And we would highly recommend it to all our family and friends!

Had a wonderful stay at the sands as a family of 3 . Check in was a breeze as we arrived late at night due to a cancelled flight. Room was spacious however I did not like the layout of the room bathroom being very open, bed was comfortable , no issues with cleanliness - however some mosquitoes. Breakfast buffet was ok but very busy chaotic at times , we found it a bit repetitive the food options. Our daughter had the time of life at the pool,slides and playground it kept her busy all day. We enjoyed the swim up bar the cocktails were okay too sugary we enjoyed the happy hours at different bars at the resort we did walk along the beach 2 min walk to hippie fish bar and enjoyed the cocktails there more much better quality I believe happy hr was 6 to 7 there highly recommended good vibe. The gym was well maintained everything you need. We ate dinners at spinach, thenight markets, room service was great as well. We also loved the roti and fried chicken cart . Would only recommend staying here with children not as a couple.

Came to Khao Lak to hone my mer-person metamorphosis skills with some fellow mer-folk 🧜🏽‍♂️ Srichada was the perfect fit for our needs. Unpretentious, clean, affordable, well located rooms. The beach is little more than 5 mins walk. Plenty of decent restaurants around (though many closed during current covid times). Comfy bed, new AC machines, towels, a perfectly sassy front of house host. Good stuff - would stay again, would recommend to a friend. It ain’t fancy, but the value for money is on point. The place was a little difficult to spot. Maybe they normally have a big sign but the current road expansion going on has moved it? Dunno.. anyway.. it’s where it says on maps so rely on that rather than looking for a sign.

New hotel, clean, good service from the receptionist. friendly smile Suitable for people looking for accommodation when traveling to work. strength - New, clean room - There is a swimming pool, depth ~1.2 meters. - There is a hair dryer and refrigerator. - The bathroom is clean, no pipe smell, musty smell, very good. - TV in the room, smart TV, can watch youtube / netflix - Good location, there are 7-11, restaurants, cafes nearby. - Cute price weakness - The safe is small, can't hold anything. If you can put it on, if you steal it, you can take the whole cabinet away 😅 - The water flows a little sluggishly, not satisfyingly strong.

We upgraded from 2 suites from a package TUI booking pool villa 838 costing about 42K THB for 14 nights in November and December 2022. 2 adults, and 2 kids age 17 and 10 so the privacy of a private pool was one of our highlights of the holiday. This is such a peaceful resort with beautiful surroundings and very helpful staff. Notably Emme, Gift, Mark, Tee, Big, Yuda, Tar, Pecky and Winai. This resort is not within walking distance of town / Biang Nang market area, and a taxi to go there will set you back 300 THB each way from the guys on the beach outside the gate. That's the going rate both ways so don't be conned by a chancer. In the resort there's 2 restaurants, one's a buffet and the Napalai on the villa side of the river and you can eat from both if you upgrade. There are 2 swimming pools, several bars and organised trips to temples, islands, local markets, animal sanctuaries offered from the front desk or holiday rep so you aren't cut off from civilisation by being in such a remote area surrounded by beach and jungle, which is actually a plus point if you're a surfer, nature or beach lover because this resort scores a 10 if that's what interests you. We didn't travel to Thailand for the nightlife, just to chill in some winter sun. There's ample entertainment just 10 minutes away from the resort, in town or Memories bar, but if you want boom, boom, boom and all night drinking go to Phuket instead. I'd definitely return, but not with children.

Beautiful resort with friendly staff. Mid-size ground so I could watch my kids going between the pool and beach. Room is basic without a bath tub but spacious even with extra bed, well maintained and clean. Ground floor we stayed was very convenient and balcony space is generous.

I booked a regular room for 1,400 RMB a night on Ctrip. FOOD: The food was really unpalatable. I ordered three dishes in the picture and took a bite of each one. The taste was wrong and it was very unpalatable! The free bread basket was thought to be moldy. Papaya salad, whoever eats it will be disappointed. Checked in and waited 25 minutes. There is no service at all. There were not many guests on the day I checked in. I saw on Ctrip that there were rooms with sea views. I asked the front desk if I could upgrade the room? Answer: No. There was a very damp musty smell upon entering the room. When I checked in, I found that the light in the room was broken. People from the engineering department repaired it for 20 minutes while I was present. Why book this hotel? Because it is very close to the pier to Similan, it takes 40 minutes to drive. If I go to Similan Island next time, I will definitely not stay in this hotel.
