Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary. The food was fantastic and we love the smaller setting. The restaurant, going to the beach, or sitting at the pool was never crowded. It is a beautiful hotel, and very relaxing. We love the private setting at the beach that the hotel provides. It was great going out on the beach and walking down to the river collecting seashells. We both got a couples massage which was phenomenal. The scenery around the hotel is beautiful and makes you feel like you’re in the middle of a tropical garden. It rained a little bit every day, but this made it even more relaxing. We were able to see a few animals as well.

Great experience, friendly staff, and the food was amazing! The private beach access was great, and the pools were also nice! Booking excursions through the resort was simple and easy. The rooms were clean and nice, and the restaurant and bars were great!

My husband and I spent 5 nights celebrating out honeymoon at this hotel, our stay was beyond amazing! The property is beautiful and peaceful. Photos do not do this hotel enough justice. birds, monkeys and various other animals can be seen which make this hotel grounds a beautiful garden oasis. Breakfast and dinner are included and the options are endless and delicious! The staff here go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is perfect, they are amazing. Silvia at the front desk did such a wonderful job helping us setup tours and helped us organized a beautiful candle light private dinner. Thank you again to the amazing hardworking staff at this property and thank you so much Silvia for making out stay extra special. My husband and I will be back in the near future. If you are thinking about booking this hotel just DO IT !!!!!!

Breathtaking is the first thing that comes to mind. When we got to this resort it really felt like we were in our nice little world, so much greenery around, the way that the restaurant is placed right next to the pool gives you a beautiful sight when you are eating. The food was absolutely amazing, the first night we were just shocked by how good the lobster& shrimp rissoto was. The rooms were a great size, staff very friendly and accommodating, yoga and meditation classes were a breath of fresh air and when it was time to go to the beach having access to a nice beachfront section with a bar and small pool was the icing on the cake. They also had a back entrance that let you out right onto the streets of tamarindo before you get to the beach which was great for when we went out to eat, shopping or for activities.

The staff is amazing! The grounds are beautiful. The restaurant staff will recognize you and treat you like family. Andy, and Natalie were extra special! I want to go back ! I took my friend and my 88 year old father for a 5 day trip in Tamarindo. The car service was on point! Not a care in the world did I have to deal with. The town is cute and the weather held up for us! Rained at night some sprinkles during the day at times. Monkeys on property. There is a walkway down to the Main Street. Bamboo Sushi and Patagonia were two places we had lunch. At night you have to have reservations so go for lunch. You will not be disappointed

A fabulous hotel with beautiful gardens, offering numerous areas to bathe, relax and enjoy our stay. The staff are incredibly welcoming, helpful & efficient. All areas are kept incredibly clean and rooms are serviced to a very high standard. Breakfast options are a welcome mixture of fresh fruit& salad, cold meats&cheeses, cereal, yoghurts and there is the opportunity to request freshly cooked omelettes! The hotel bar has a wide range of drinks including cocktails which we enjoyed sampling! If you want a resort hotel close to the beach and local shops then this venue is a must!

The room was sort of basic, but still nice and clean. The balcony and view were great. But what makes this hotel special was the food and the service. All personnel are somehow trained to greet you by name after the first day. That really isn't all that important to me, but it shows to what length the people are trained to make your stay special. There was a waiter at the beach bar, Kevin, whose service was exceptional. Everybody was great but this guy would run at a trot uphill several hundred yards if we wanted something he would have to get from the hotel back across the street. The food at the beach was fantastic, as was the main restaurant at the hotel. Really great food, including breakfast, and we like to go to two or three star Michelin hotels several times a year. This was of course not that kind of food, but it just all tasted great.
Then there was our massage at the spa. Ours were administered by Yerling and Angie, both fully trained and certified physiotherapists, and it was heavenly. And healthy.
We loved our stay. I highly recommend this place.
