We spend 3 nights at Inotawa and had an amazing experience! We can only recommend this lodge to anyone that wants to experience the rainforest in Tambopata. The lodge is beautifully made and everyone is super friendly. The expeditions with our guide were great and since they preserve the area around the lodge very well you can see a lot of animals already close to the lodge. Additionally, the food was amazing! It really is a wonderful experience to stay at Inotawa!

Inotawa Lodge was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to Peru and proved to be an amazing and truly authentic Amazon experience. My partner and I spent four days and three nights at the lodge and ended up having the whole place to ourselves, shared only with our guide, the chefs and boat driver. The whole experience exploring the jungle is like nothing else: we went piranha fishing; spotted capybaras, tortoises and plenty of birds on the many boat rides up the river; visited the macaw clay lick; spotted giant otters and caiman while canoeing; and stumbled across tarantulas, snakes, scorpions and plenty of monkeys on several walks into the jungle, including a few at night. L The food served at the lodge was outstanding, with different options served for each breakfast, lunch and dinner across the few days. Certainly an impressive variety of food considering the place has no electricity and all food comes in on the boat. The food itself was also a highlight of our trip in both its quality and quantity. The bungalows were a special place to stay too, where we could return from the activities to rest and lie in bed watching monkeys swing through the trees just meters away from us. Also hot water showers were a bonus though not too necessary in the heat! All in all, considering the nightly rate of the lodge includes full board food and all activities in the day it was outstanding value and felt even more special with it being a private experience. Thank you Bryan & Inotawa!

The trip started with is being picked up at the airport were we weer greeted by the very friendly Rosa(hope i said if right). The trip itself is a smal advanture with the wobbly roads. After 30 minutes we arrived at the boot which took like 1.15 hours to take is to Inotawa lodge. The travel by boot is nothing less than amazing! The river is really wide and covered nu jungle on both sides. Arriving at the lodge, we were greeted by Shanti. Thuis German, Peruvian, Dutch woman had enough energy for the entire camp! What a great way tot start! She showed us the rooms which where awesome! Our house had a second floor where we could relax with an jungle view. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the tours with Joaquin! He knows a lot about the jungle and really does a great job in sharing his knowledge. The highlights where: a 3 hour hike trough the jungle, spotting kaaiman (crocodilles) and fishing for piranha's! Even without the tours, the place itself is awesome. It is so big, you can easily have a walk around and look at the different kind of fruits they grow on site. All and all i would definitly reccomand this place! The food is great (breakfast lunch and diner is included and where al super tasty) and the staff feels like a big family! Thanks for the great last three days of our holiday in Peru!

Inotawa lodge is a wonderful place surrounded by nature and away from modern technology. After a few days you will be able to disconnect from the modern world and feel the overarching power of the Amazon. A special thanks to Paul, our guide who led us on crazy treks, transmitting to us his love for this still uncontaminated land.

What a fantastic experience here after 4 days! Sat on the boat to spot parrots, otters and caimans both during the day and in the dark, to fish and eat piranhas, to go on jungle trips and to be spoiled by Shanti with delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner! It was fun with a capital G

We had the most amazing experience at Inotawa Lodge with our guide Jungle Paul. His expertise and humour really did make our trip so memorable. All the walks and boat trips were full of wildlife which we would not have been able to see without Paul’s knowledge of the jungle. We saw howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, caimans, river otters, copybara, tarantulas, macaws and countless other birds. We really did get to see so much more wildlife than we ever imagined and that’s without all the information about the flora. We would recommend Paul to anyone looking for a authentic experience in the jungle. Inotawa Lodge itself was very comfortable considering the jungle setting. The owner and staff were so accommodating of our vegan diet - the food was honestly INCREDIBLE. We cannot complain at all.

My partner and I had the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable experience at the Inotawa Lodge, in the heart of the Peruvian jungle. We spent 3 nights surrounded by the most exuberant nature, and every moment was magical. From piranha fishing to the stunning sunsets we witnessed, each activity left us in awe. Additionally, we participated in an incredible night tarantula sighting tour, where we were able to observe these fascinating creatures up close in their natural environment. We also interacted with alligators, an exciting experience that brought us closer to the jungle's wildlife. And we cannot forget the intense moment in which we saw monkeys in their natural habitat or the sighting of a family of sainos in the clay lick, an experience that made us feel even more connected to the beauty of this region. But what really surprised us was the local food they offered us. From the delicious arroz chaufa to the tasty juane and the irresistible lomo saltado, each dish was a delicious culinary adventure that we will not forget. Our bungalow, despite being in the middle of the jungle, was cozy and always kept impeccable thanks to the attentive staff. The experience at Inotawa exceeded all of our expectations and allowed us to deeply connect with the natural beauty of the Peruvian jungle. They also took us to a local farm, where they allowed us to try many local fruits (cocoa, lemon, grapefruit, avocado, etc.) Paul, Joaquín and Ángela have been our guides and companions on this trip and I can only thank them for their effort to make us feel comfortable. Victor the captain, a great person! We highly recommend Inotawa to all nature and adventure lovers. Not only will they experience unforgettable moments, but they will also enjoy the exceptional hospitality and authenticity of the experience. We can't wait to go back!

A unique experience in the Amazon jungle. Shanty, the owner, is an enthusiastic and smiling woman and takes care of the organization of the trips and the cooking impeccably. The activities organized by the Lodge showed us the authentic life of the jungle, allowing us to get to know some of its inhabitants (such as birds, monkeys, caimans, otters, capybaras and countless insects). The rooms surrounded by Amazonian vegetation are clean and safe from unwanted guests (as there are mosquito nets), they always have running water only in the evening hours. Sleeping surrounded by the sound of rain, birds and monkeys playing has an indescribable value. Our guides, especially Bryan, were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, protective and helpful. We recommend this experience in this magical place to anyone!
