Inotawa Lodge

Inotawa lodge is a wonderful place surrounded by nature and away from modern technology. After a few days you will be able to disconnect from the modern world and feel the overarching power of the Amazon. A special thanks to Paul, our guide who led us on crazy treks, transmitting to us his love for this still uncontaminated land.

What a fantastic experience here after 4 days! Sat on the boat to spot parrots, otters and caimans both during the day and in the dark, to fish and eat piranhas, to go on jungle trips and to be spoiled by Shanti with delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner! It was fun with a capital G

My partner and I had the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable experience at the Inotawa Lodge, in the heart of the Peruvian jungle. We spent 3 nights surrounded by the most exuberant nature, and every moment was magical. From piranha fishing to the stunning sunsets we witnessed, each activity left us in awe. Additionally, we participated in an incredible night tarantula sighting tour, where we were able to observe these fascinating creatures up close in their natural environment. We also interacted with alligators, an exciting experience that brought us closer to the jungle's wildlife. And we cannot forget the intense moment in which we saw monkeys in their natural habitat or the sighting of a family of sainos in the clay lick, an experience that made us feel even more connected to the beauty of this region. But what really surprised us was the local food they offered us. From the delicious arroz chaufa to the tasty juane and the irresistible lomo saltado, each dish was a delicious culinary adventure that we will not forget. Our bungalow, despite being in the middle of the jungle, was cozy and always kept impeccable thanks to the attentive staff. The experience at Inotawa exceeded all of our expectations and allowed us to deeply connect with the natural beauty of the Peruvian jungle. They also took us to a local farm, where they allowed us to try many local fruits (cocoa, lemon, grapefruit, avocado, etc.) Paul, Joaquín and Ángela have been our guides and companions on this trip and I can only thank them for their effort to make us feel comfortable. Victor the captain, a great person! We highly recommend Inotawa to all nature and adventure lovers. Not only will they experience unforgettable moments, but they will also enjoy the exceptional hospitality and authenticity of the experience. We can't wait to go back!

A unique experience in the Amazon jungle. Shanty, the owner, is an enthusiastic and smiling woman and takes care of the organization of the trips and the cooking impeccably. The activities organized by the Lodge showed us the authentic life of the jungle, allowing us to get to know some of its inhabitants (such as birds, monkeys, caimans, otters, capybaras and countless insects). The rooms surrounded by Amazonian vegetation are clean and safe from unwanted guests (as there are mosquito nets), they always have running water only in the evening hours. Sleeping surrounded by the sound of rain, birds and monkeys playing has an indescribable value. Our guides, especially Bryan, were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, protective and helpful. We recommend this experience in this magical place to anyone!
