A little corner of paradise by the ocean! Perfectly located on the beach, spacious, friendly and clean rooms, comfortable bedding. Warm and professional welcome. Competent and helpful staff. The restaurant is excellent and the view of the ocean at breakfast is sublime. We saw macaws, iguanas, monkeys in the park... We are delighted with our two-day stay and we highly recommend this beautiful place.

We were on a tout with Caravan and stayed here for three days. This was enchanting with a perfect environment for both couples and families. The rooms are "plantation" oriented with massive courtyards of green. The food was exceptional and the staff very, very helpful. We were there for our anniversary and every aspect was perfect!

A very nice hotel, spacious rooms with kitchenette and all wood, a very pleasant swimming pool and the beach nearby, a well-kept park. Honestly a very beautiful place. Some negative points however: very weak or non-existent wi-fi, the morning light which comes from five o'clock illuminating the room, a location a little far from the nearest town.

Genial, Pelikane am Strand, Aras in der Luft, Squirrels an den Bäumen und ab und zu ein kleiner Leguan und das alles in einer wunderschönen Wohlfühlathmosphäre. Kleiner Pool, völlig ausreichend. Abendessen etwas unterdurchschnittlich, aber ok. Der Hammer die Zimmer, soll heißen, quasi Baumhütte extralarge! Tolles Bad, sehr gute Betten und alles in Holz. Ich will wieder hin. Alles so schön ruhig und unaufgeregt. Kein Stress. Pure Vida und nix für Animationsstreber!

Tambor Tropical is an exceptionally well cared for property. We were well taken care of by very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel is a great place for a quiet and peaceful getaway.
This isn't a comment towards the hotel, but we felt important for visitors to know that the beach isn't a great swimming beach. It is great for sunrises, long walks, and not sharing it with many other people.

The best hotel experience on a 15-day trip to Costa Rica staying in 3 other places. The rooms are specious and convenient. The restaurant is great and relatively inexpensive. The services are superb. A tour guy on the spot. Excellent and helpful staff. Full five stars!

After the first evening, we booked again for the next day. A beautiful place by the sea, where the scarlet macaws come by from around 4 p.m. The food was delicious, the cocktails good and the staff very friendly and attentive. We didn't sleep there, but the well-kept grounds make us think about doing so on our next trip.
