I stayed at this hotel to leave my car and fly to the Caribbean from Tampa Airport and on my return as well. I was stunned. It is by far the nicest Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in hundreds!!! It is beautiful and the staff could not have been any friendlier or nicer or more helpful. The breakfast was the best as well. The shuttle was on time and nice and runs every half hour 24 hours a day which I had to have due to such an early flight. It was a wonderful Hampton experience!!! Thank you to all the staff!!! I will always stay there for all my flights out of Tampa Airport.

This hotel stayed for the first time, hilton name is good, it really did not disappoint, but the price can be more perfect if you can nice. Only stayed for two nights, because the price of the hotel behind it, too much can only change places. First the good news, front desk was cheery and helpful. This hotel was built in 2019, so it’s pretty new and modern. Bed was VERY comfortable. Good water pressure. Now the not-so-good news. Be VERY CAUTIOUS regarding their entrance from Dale Marby. The second entrance, the one closest to McDill AFB is a one lane entry, which some people use as as exit. If they are exiting, you can’t enter, and you have to come to a full stop on a busy roadway without a shoulder. I almost got rear-ended. Use the more northern entrance. This is extremely poorly engineered, I’m not sure how they got it permitted. The second engineering flaw is that they use cardboard between the rooms. Last night I heard the neighbors shouting back and forth with their TV on until 2 am. A previous customer made the same complaint. It’s interesting that their TV volume only goes to “21” which is barely loud enough for me to hear the TV with my hearing loss. Now I see why. The walls are so thin that anything louder than 21, and your neighbors could hear it as loud as you do. Your only salvation is to turn the fan for your AC on to high and hope the white noise drowns out the neighbors. Oh, maid service every third day, unless you request more often. Just not what I was hoping for, or expected given the good first impression from the lobby. My advice, get a room at the end of the hall, then you might only have one noisy neighbor.

The hotel is a little confusing to get into as far as parking wise. Amenities are fair. The room was clean.
One drawback I can mention, is the hotel is located right on the train tracks. You can hear the train running all throughout the night. The train runs the horn so be prepared if you plan on staying here, to hear the train.
A second drawback was the thermostat in the room. Yes the thermostat. Why? The one in our room literally illuminated the entire room. It was as bright as a blue fire. I am sure like many of us adults like to sleep in the dark. No this literally was shining so bright you could read a book by the light. I would recommend to dim them for the customers prior to entering the room.
Oh we also had some noisemakers in our room next door. Had to call downstairs to let them know that it was time for rest.
This hotel is located in a party town. So assuming you like to party, it would be good for you.

Room keys don’t work. No hot water. Room not cleaned. And attitude to boot. My stay began pleasantly but that changed drastically, quickly. My 4th floor room key constantly failed - requiring several round trips up and down the elevator to a condescending and contentious staff member. Turns out the lock was malfunctioning (I keep keys far from anything that might deprogram them) Her unprofessionalism and eventual, reluctant choice to troubleshoot was not well received by me, plainly obvious by my frustrated demeanor. Nonetheless, to “compensate” for the inconvenience, I was advised by the same customer service-less staffer that I could be moved to a first floor room; a desirable, more convenient option affording me quick in and out access while I’m here on business. But alas, and coincidentally? The room to which the contentious and condescending employee referred me was without hot water for my 5am December morning shower. Furthermore, upon my 1pm return to my upgraded accommodation I entered into a space completely uncleaned. I feel like I’m being pranked at this point. Brining my concerns to a different staff member reveled that poor customer service is endemic at this particular facility. Her short responses to my inquiry about when my room might be cleaned and mid conversation escape to a back office as I spoke, convinced me I have a duty to inform other weary travelers that might unfortunately happen upon this place.

As an ex worker of one of the hotels from the Wyndham corporate, This hotel proves you the opposite of what professionalism and good customer service is.. My review from my stay on the second week of June has been erased. I am not going to repeat that uncomfortable moment we had when the manager called my cell phone to ask me for payment for 1 extra night when the night before we already had walked to the front desk and tried to pay at the counter for the next day. My husband was told that there was no need to pay or sign any document since we already had a credit card authorization form on file and a certain rate already accepted by me. The next day the manager's excuse was that there was a misscomunication and by that day my form was already expired. Long story short, between trying to call Wyndham corporate an repeating over and over by phone the story and asking them to send me their email so I can send all the documentation and proves and also getting an email from the manager saying that my review was going to affect his business, the corporate resolution was to give me 3,000 reward point and if I wanted something else I needed to call the manager of the property again. Thanks for being so professional..........Not.

MmitchellgeraldOne of the ladies who answers the phone was not the friendliness person. But otherwise, there's no jacuzzi tub, the pool was freezing, no microwave, and no public parking. Finally, the rooftop bar was extremely windy. The décor was beautiful and everything was very clean. It was okay but not worth what I paid and not what I expected.

The front desk was super friendly and helpful. The free shuttle was convenient and the driver was funny and talkative. I got the business concierge balcony room. Big tv and nice balcony. Used the concierge lounge for breakfast. It was convenient and the food was decent. The on-site restaurant was a little expensive and the food was just OK but the cocktails were great!My stay was perfect for a pre-cruise night.

CClarissaWe stopped and stayed here after a trip we were on was extended a day and we had an early flight to catch. Check in was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable and the location was great as it was minutes to the airport, which was great with a 6 am flight with 3 kids and 7 people total. Our only complaint was the laundromat services were only available until 9. We spent the day at the beach and just planned to wash and pack our beach things once we had come back from dinner. Once we got back from dinner the hotel laundromat was about to close. There was a coin mat about mins up the road , so it wasnt the hugest inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have the on site laundromat available 24 hours or even until midnight. We travel for sports a lot and this is the first time we have encountered this.

Disadvantages: Hotel is poorly soundproofed! !! !! Sleeping with headphones, at 4 am, I was woken up by a guest who was catching an early flight next door. It was too scary! The breakfast room is very small, and there are no more places for the guests to sit. Fortunately, my room is on the same floor and I took it back to eat. . . The bed is so small, the double bed is actually 1.2 meters wide, and it can be considered as a widened single bed. I really can't sleep two people. This is the smallest bed of any American hotel I have ever stayed in. The bed is famous @@）

LLamboTripsGreat place to stop by for a night. Breakfast is not great, you may grab a yogurt or an apple, beside that there wasn’t much to eat or drink. The service is pretty good, but I wouldn’t stay more than one night- great for quick stop if you driving and need some sleep. The room is pretty big, but the bed is not really comfortable.

Then, we had some people racing their motorcycles nearby and calls to the front desk to report/request police help were met with disbelief since I couldn't tell them exactly where the motorcyles were - I did tell her to step outside and she'd hear it.... The hotel itself is charming, clean & nicely decorated, other staff were terrific so maybe this was just an ”off” night....

MMeganThe service at this hotel was excellent. We had quite a few problems with the cleanliness and other things and the front desk were straight over to help us change rooms and bring us anything we needed. The pool area was so lovely and they had great amenities and a restaurant available in the hotel. If they could sort out the cleanliness of the rooms (the floors had clearly not been mopped ever and there was a tick in our bed), it would be one of the best hotels for the price.

GGuest UserRoom was full of health and safety concerns. Reserved a non-smoking room and the room reeked of smoke and other odors. Bathroom had tile falling off the walls. Black water stains running down the bathtub. Bathtub was rusted out. Feces still in the toilet. Ceiling flaking off across the entire room. Mattress was caved in where it appeared that someone sat for a very long time watching TV. There was no smoke alarm in the room. Chair was damaged as if a cat lived in the room. Did not stay, but was concerned for our safety to go back to the front desk to ask for a refund.
