This hotel is an absolute Gem! We have tons of family in the Tampa area and this hotel is our absolute #1 choice anytime we visit. It’s literally located a skip and a hop off the Fletcher exit exactly where we need to be. The hotel is located near almost every major attraction in the area including the University of South Florida and the Busch Gardens theme parks!! The cleanliness of this property is superior and the rooms are extremely spacious while traveling with our kids. The staff at this hotel are extremely courteous and always there to make our stay pleasant. Sheea Hicks went above and beyond to acknowledge our Titanium Elite status and upgraded our suite. Sheea always makes sure to check in with us throughout the stay and make sure it’s as pleasant as possible. We stayed here one night before heading out of Tampa on a cruise. The location was perfect & the area was safe & very clean. Lots of options for food & shopping. Perfect size suite for our family of 4. Loved the separate shower room & bathroom so we could get ready for the day quickly! Breakfast buffet was really good with lots of options for everyone & the team working were very friendly & helpful.

We stayed Friday night before our cruise. We took a Lyft from airport, and arrived during rush hour. Many people were checking in, for one night before their cruise. The ladies working the front desk were super friendly and helpful, told us everything we needed to know. They put us on the list for the shuttle to the cruise port for the next AM. The room was very nice, and the bed was WONDERUL! My daughter and I agreed. AC worked well in the room. We walked a block to a restaurant for dinner. We went down for the included breakfast the next AM. It had everything you could want. The ladies working it were so very nice. Then we took the shuttle to the port. The driver was very friendly and we arrived in plenty of time. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

This hotel has not been renovated in years and it does not have double pane glass windows. The rooms that face the street sound like you are sleeping on the highway. I asked to move and the hotel is full; I get that... but there is no way a hotel should be selling rooms that are this noisy. They have a little white noise machine that does nothing to block the noise of sirens and yahoos racing down the street. Avoid unless you can get a courtyard facing room. Also...I'm in a room with two queen beds and one of them was clearly not changed after the last guest was here. See photo... The front desk woman Anita was super nice, but one of the men working the front could not have cared less when I mentioned that the noise was unacceptable.

The staff at Le Meridian could not have been better or nicer! They were incredibly friendly and helpful….a big shout out to LaLithia at the front desk who was awesome and helped us upon check-in. The glass of complimentary sparkling wine upon check-in is a nice touch. The complimentary coffee in the lobby from 6 am until noon is also a nice and appreciated touch. Our room was very spacious and very clean. I am giving my review a 4 start vs 5 star because of the room decor and, quite frankly, the hotel (hallway decor) as well. Whoever was in charge of interior design should be fired! Our room was incredibly depressing because EVERY wall except the entry hall was painted a DARK gray. The carpet (new at least) was also a DARK gray. The bathroom was ….guess what….a DARK gray. Because the hotel is a converted old court house, the ceilings are high and made of cement so there is no recessed lighting (understandable). BUT, there wasn’t even a floor lamp in our room. It was SO DARK and DEPRESSING. Needless to say, we felt we were living in a CAVE. When you stay at an upscale hotel for a getaway or mini vacation, you expect to feel happy and uplifted. The decor did just the opposite. In addition, our room was lacking ANY seating area other than the bed and a desk chair (at bar height to match the bar height desk). It was CLEARLY MISSING a couple of comfortable occasional chairs. We called the front desk as soon as we walked into our room and requested a couple of chairs. They brought us 2 stacking chairs. I guess it was the best they could do under the circumstances but they certainly weren’t comfortable chairs that one would want to relax in. Also, the TV was very small given the size of the room and the distance from the bed to the TV. As for my reference to the hotel decor, and specifically the hallways, Marriott fell so far short in making this hotel what it COULD be given its unique history and architecture. When you walk down the hallways the bottom half of the walls have old marble (a nice touch and vestigial feature of the court house) BUT the top half of every wall is BARE. It is just COLD and lacks ANY sign of nice decor. Why wouldn’t they line these hallways with old, framed photos of court houses, court rooms, judges, etc???? Or old photos of Tampa? Or have a local artist paint murals on these walls? Ironically, the hotel gives its guests free passes to the Tampa Art Museum but whoever designed the interior space didn’t bother to include ANY artwork in the hallways. And the “artwork” in our room consisted of a few ugly, random cheaply framed posters. You might think that I am overly critical….after all, as I said, the staff was lovely and responsive and our room was spacious, quiet and clean. BUT, because our room was just so DARK and DREARY and DEPRESSING we wanted to minimize the time we spent at this hotel.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Upon arrival Cristian helped my husband park our large truck—narrow entrance so it was challenging. All the staff we interacted with was stellar! The walk to Amelie Arena was quick and painless. Overall a great stay! 10/20 - 10/21.

I always enjoy my stays at the Embassy Suites! The room was remarkably clean, everything worked properly, the comfort level was great & this location was close to the majority of places I wanted to visit. The only small downside was that the amenities that I enjoy the most were unavailable due to the pandemic; namely, the Breakfast & Cocktail Hour. Overall, I’d still say it was a great stay!

My visit was perfect from the initial ingress, housekeeping (she is excellent), concierge, front desk staff, food services - restaurants and room service - janitorial staff keeps that place spotless. Bartenders, waiters everyone. Food was delicious, bed was comfortable and everyone was kind. Excellent location near the arena and convention center. VVictor TampaHotel Haya is an an amazing hotel located in he heart of Tampa’s Ybor City Historic and Entertainment District just minutes and blocks from downtown and the best airport in the world. The coffee shop has the best café con leche of any place in Tampa, the Flor Fina restaurant has a wonderful menu that serves the best lunch and dinner in Tampa. And you cannot meet a friendlier and accommodating staff from the valet to the front desk to the waiters and waitresses and bartenders and even the people who clean your rooms!
GGuest UserI chose this Marriott because of the indoor/outdoor pool area! Perfect because it was pouring rain when I arrived and I really wanted to go swimming. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. The free shuttle was convenient and the driver was funny and talkative. I got the business concierge balcony room. Big tv and nice balcony. Used the concierge lounge for breakfast. It was convenient and the food was decent. The on-site restaurant was a little expensive and the food was just OK but the cocktails were great! My stay was perfect for a pre-cruise night.
GGuest UserReally handy for TPA having arrived from the UK. Rooms are a decent size, however the sofa bed was not made up when we went to our room. Disappointingly when we went down to reception to mention this we were told that we would have to make the bed up ourselves. Never in all of our travels have we ever been told such a rediculous thing. We we challenged this again, the reception staff finally relented and sent housekeeping to make up the bed.
CClarissaWe stopped and stayed here after a trip we were on was extended a day and we had an early flight to catch. Check in was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable and the location was great as it was minutes to the airport, which was great with a 6 am flight with 3 kids and 7 people total. Our only complaint was the laundromat services were only available until 9. We spent the day at the beach and just planned to wash and pack our beach things once we had come back from dinner. Once we got back from dinner the hotel laundromat was about to close. There was a coin mat about mins up the road , so it wasnt the hugest inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have the on site laundromat available 24 hours or even until midnight. We travel for sports a lot and this is the first time we have encountered this.
LLamboTripsGreat place to stop by for a night. Breakfast is not great, you may grab a yogurt or an apple, beside that there wasn’t much to eat or drink. The service is pretty good, but I wouldn’t stay more than one night- great for quick stop if you driving and need some sleep. The room is pretty big, but the bed is not really comfortable.
GGuest UserThe hardest blasted bed I've ever been on! Then, we had some people racing their motorcycles nearby and calls to the front desk to report/request police help were met with disbelief since I couldn't tell them exactly where the motorcyles were - I did tell her to step outside and she'd hear it.... The hotel itself is charming, clean & nicely decorated, other staff were terrific so maybe this was just an ”off” night....
RRoad44969377401We booked thro Air Canada Vacations and stayed a week. After reading the reviews we were a bit worried. it was way better than the reviews here. First the bad stuff- the photos on website are old, there has not been a Tiki bar for over 2 years, it says heated pool, they mean heated only by the sun. We stayed a week in room 145, a drive up, we could park right at our door. Now the inn is old , over 70 years old but our room was fine. Clean, quiet, we felt safe there. NO BUGS believe me I looked. We had two comfortable queen beds, a small frig and microwave. The bathrooms have been redone, no tub but a nice shower. On one side is a huge Lutheran church and parking lot, on the other side a Chick a fila and Burger King. We met 2 front desk staff, both men, both nice and professional. When we checked in we could not get the tv working, the front desk fellow came right down and showed us what to do. All the staff around were friendly- the maids, the maintenance guys. Close to airport and central for us. They said they'd clean the room every 3 days and just ask for towels, no problem getting more clean towels. The in house restaurant Pach's place is open for breakfast and lunch. Lots of locals there which was a good sign. Yummy food, good prices. Yes you can sit outside by a Koi fish pond if you wish. The inn is dog friendly, we saw 2 in the week we were there, no barking issues. the pool is not heated but I'm from Canada so I swam in it, nice lounge chairs by it. In all Tahitian Inn was way better than I expected , had a relaxing week in Tampa, would stay there again. Yes they did put a hold of $100 on room in case we wrecked anything, they removed it no problem after we checked out.
Kkpadilla087Hotel was great the breakfast was as well .. good ac cable TV pool on deck you don't lose pricing was fair don't really like they all for a deposit but other then that there awesome
GGuest UserThe hotel has been great so far and me and my girlfriend have had a great time. great location and great staff. will definitely recommend and stay again.
