We had been away from home for 5 weeks and this really was one of the best places where we stayed. The room was large and the king bed seemed larger than some. The bathroom was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. We loved the fridge area and the sink was a great addition. It also had a microwave but we chose Room Service for dinner as it had turned cold and damp. The food arrived quickly and was first rate. There was also a private balcony which would be great in the warmer weather. We would be happy to stay there any time we visit Tamworth.

Stayed for two nights. Room we were in appears to have been recently renovated. It’s clean comfort and modern. The ensuite is excellent, room was pretty big, beds were comfortable, we were allocated room in the early 100, it’s very noisy due to truck and noisy exhaust from cars. Goes on all day, and starts early in the morning. Recommend visitors to request room no’s. after 110 onwards as the early number’s on located too close the cross road section and very noisy. Maybe operator should sound proof windows in these rooms. Not sure when this process started, but hotel only cleans cups, glasses and clear garbage bins, do not change towels or remake up bed. Never used to be this way. Perhaps another mirror in the room not just in ensuite.

Room was comfortable with everything required for a short stay. Not high end decor and in need of some attention but beds were clean. Bathroom was the let down with large cobwebs and grimy sink drain. Not cleaned too well. Shower a little defective but gave us a laugh. Restaurant - for dinner food was very good menu had some varied options not much in the way of vegetarian. Breakfast - continental basic but included in the room price, and all the usual on the a la carte menu. Staff all very friendly and accommodating. Price was odd as we stayed Tuesday and Wednesday and one night was more expensive than the other. Probably a little overpriced in its current state.

Hotel Grande is nicely located on the old main road, about a 3-5 minute drive to Tamworth CBD, depending on the star rating of your Uber driver. Shout out to Warren. Legend. Upon pulling into the hotel area, you're met with a quaint little 11 units/rooms so not overly busy, if at all. During checking in, hotel staff were very polite and helpful and did whatever they could to accommodate you. I read reviews on this place before booking and after what seemed like nothing but good things being said, I booked this room for $130 a night, (which based off reviews seemed to good to be true) and expected $130 standards (not in a good way). Walking into the room, I was stoked. The room was clean, spacious, beds were comfortable and the shower was probably the best water pressure I'd ever had in a room. Although the shower was a little small, it felt homely so that was a nice touch. The air con worked first go straight away, no 10 minute delay and the roller shutters were a good addition and easily operated. TV was new and gave options for all channels and digital movie services to log into your account. Housekeeping fixed everything and replaced all things that were used and it was done well. 5/5 there. I'll just say this. I've stayed in a lot of places in Tamworth and I'd say this was the best place besides The Powerhouse. But if im looking for great value, great amenities and service, this is it. I'd honestly stay here over The Powerhouse and will book every time I go back. Absolutely outstanding place. Thank you and well done to the Hotel Grande team 👏🏻

I booked 4 rooms at this motel for family members. Each of us had a large room with sofa and a little table with 2 chairs. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. A continental breakfast was included in the price. We were given a list to choose from and what time we wanted it delivered to our room. It arrived right on time the next morning. I liked the idea that they put the bread into a bag and you could toast it yourself in the room so that it was hot. I would have preferred a later breakfast time as we didn't plan for an early start but the last delivery was for 8am so we used that.

First time we've stayed in this new hotel. It's so quiet and the rooms are well appointed. King bed very comfortable and bathroom very good, lovely shower and loo a reasonable height for those of us with some mobility problems. Room was a tad warm overnight but that's usual. Is a part of the Leagues Club so had dinner there (inedible chicken) but otherwise okay, were given a guest member card. Also breakfast available for Mercure guests which was great and got our discount as Accor members. Highly recomment this hotel.

Within walking distance to the Longyard hotel. 6km from town so a good walk if you are keen. I couldn’t hear any noise from the other rooms, could hear road noise with the window open. Water pressure good. Would stay here again.

GGuest UserAir conditioner was struggling with the cold but the beds were comfy and extra blankets kept me warm. It was freezing in Tamworth this night and the door and windows could be a.bit more cold and draft proofed. Good place, nice pool in summer, palm trees etc. I got a room for 4 (queen bed and two singles) for a very low price of 149 since I booked that afternoon as we drove into Tamworth. A word on that...between Dubbo and Tamworth there is sketchy net and phone coverage at best so be prepared and know your route ahead of time. Ask locals if you get lost. We did. Biggest disappointment for me was the lack of a.kettle, tea and milk for the morning. It's a basic essential for me; that cuppa before I set off in the freezing winter morning of Tamworth or anywhere so that would be a good addition. Plenty of towels. Hot water in the shower and lots of shampoos etc. This one provided lotion. Not a bad option. Roll up and put a towel at the bottom the door to prevent drafts.
