The hotel offers free parking which is a great convenience. However, there is no designated lobby area for unloading luggage. Instead, guests need to go to Level 3 where the reception is located and request a bellboy to assist with their luggage. The bellboy will then accompany you to the basement parking lot.
The staff at the hotel are exceptionally courteous and it's clear that the management has invested in good training. However, the amenities are not as well-maintained as one might hope. The corridor floors were not clean and upon entering the room there was a noticeable smell of old furniture. Additionally, the towels, bedsheets and pillowcases were no longer white indicating that it might be time for a revamp and replacement of these items.
Itโs a pity because the room itself is incredibly spacious and the view is truly magnificent. With some updates and better maintenance, this hotel could offer an even more enjoyable stay.

We were looking for authentic indian cuisine for the cold weather and bumped into The Highlanders.. At first we were doubtful of the food quality but the moment we stepped in and indulged their food, the rest were history ๐.. We literally had our bfast and dinner here throughout our trip in Tanah Rata. Food :Excellent 10/10 Pricing : Affordable $ Service :Excellent 10/10 I'll definitely visit again for my next trip!

The location is great as it is very close to the main road where you can get access to all the restaurant/stalls nearby. The interior is pretty good as well. Pillow and bed are comfy. A small fan on the wall for ventilation which is pretty enough for the cozy weather in cameron highland. Shared bathroom and toilet are well maintained. The common area at 3rd floor is pretty spacious and with sofa/beanbags to chill. A small room equipt will dumbells/yoga ball/mat/etc for some light workout. Volunteers are very friendly and you get to see lots of european tourist here. Ideal for solo traveller on budget.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel De' la Ferns in Cameron Highlands! Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the staff was exceptionally warm and accommodating. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the area. We loved the cozy atmosphere, perfect for a cold weather getaway. The amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were excellent. We highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and comfortable couples' retreat.

Room type: Quadraple room for 2 adult 2 kids. No breakfast ya... can go out for eat or can โtapawโ nearby and santaiยฒ makan outside lobby area. Can go down and make ur tea @ coffee for free of charges. Got quite hour 11pm-7am. However you can go anywhere you want. Given entrance door key in case you come back late night.

Really satisfied with the stay. Thumbs up for the staff who keep the cleanliness level up to expectation! The breakfast portion might be slightly less for a big eater, but it tastes good! Also like that we can easily reach out to the staff through WhatsApp to inform on breakfast option and room service.
Slightly down sides are, can easily heard people talking day or night when we're still in bed and that the wi-fi is a little unstable sometimes. Other than that, all is good.

Booked for two room apartment, checkin and enter to the apartment which out from main tower hotel. The apartment look old and decided to change from apartment to hotel room located at the main tower,called hotel and the receptionist assist to make a changes, but need to pay penalty for rm100 for two rooms. And the room was prepared excellently and service was great! Refurbished room with minimalist concept.

The service is good, the antique and heritage building, garden and ambience are the key attractions of this hotel
Breakfast is very good and presentation is nice, especially come with the natural honey
Queen size bed is slightly small for two persons guess due to the limitations of room size
The bed and pillows are good and comfortable
The only one defects is the water heater not working well and canโt enjoy the bathtubs as it take too long to fill up with hot water, and got to wait longer to use hot shower
Highly recommended to support this small luxury boutique hotel and preserve the heritage and nature of Cameron Highlands

AAnonymous UserHad a great time at this boutique hotel. Itโs relatively new and adopt a very interesting design concept. They only have 10 rooms I think. The landscaping around the hotel was really nice. The location of this place is in Tanah Rata, so itโs not as crowded as Brinchang, also itโs not as congested in terms of traffic. You only get one car park per room. Itโs situated right at the end of the street, quite secluded and very private.
Thereโs no one waiting during check in, basically, you text a number and someone comes out to give you keys to your room and ask for breakfast selection for the following morning. All communication was done through the WhatsApp. We also asked for extra towels and shampoo, owners were very courteous and generous.
Felt very safe for my family with young children could just roam around freely. In terms of amenities, thereโs no swimming pool or gym facilities. But thereโs a place to do bbq and gather in the common area. They give you the auto gate lock if you were to drive out and come back late at night, you can allow yourself in and lock the gate yourself.
In the morning you can hear very loud bird chirping. The air was very fresh! But we were awoken by the loud noise of grass trimming from next door, some government office. Thereโs also a dormitory next door and you can hear evening prayers.
Nearby, thereโs a lot of shops and restaurants whereby you will find no problems settling your meals, about 5 mins walk down to the Main Street.
Just a few things to note :
- Thereโs a lot of stairs and if you have elderly in your entourage, it is not very convenient getting to the room. You may ask for ground floor rooms of course. The stairs worked super well for my children though, they just enjoyed going up and down so much!
- We booked loft rooms. The toilet and bath tub is located next to the main door. Itโs open concept, meaning if you were to take a shower at night or go to toilet, itโs going to be cold.
- The beds are on the top floor, so if you need the bathroom in the middle of the night, you have to walk down the stairs.
- The bathtub and shower design is not so convenient for young children or elderly.
- Breakfast comes in very cute tiffin boxes. They place it outside your door around 8 plus. However, I always couldnโt catch their delivery on time, and most times the food is rather cold already.
Overall, I still enjoyed my stay very much. I think would very suitable for young couples, and groups of young travelers.

EErwinIn overall it's just okay, the area is in a villa's complex so not really get the feelings of being in nature.
But if you compare the budget for buying/renting the caravan, renting camping site and all amenities it consider to be fair.
But in overall it worth a try for people who never experience real camping at least to have a little bit of the hassle of real camping.

LLouisFriendly staff and well located hotel. We took the double bedroom with shared bathroom. The he room was clean but the pillows were smelly and as itโs pretty high in the mountain, we got cold during the night even with the blanket. The showers/toilets are small and there are only 2 of them for around 6 double bedrooms. The toilets were dirty and one of the shower didnโt have hot water (usually not a bug thing but again itโs cold in the mountain). It was ok but we had way better stays

GGuest UserOne of the cheaper options in Cameron Highlands. The hostel is quite clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a light, fan, socket and shelf in each bed with a curtain to enable privacy. You are not provided with free towels or shower products, but you can rent towels for 5 ringgit. The shower in our room was temperamental and was sometimes very cold or had no water pressure, but it was ok for the most part. Wi-Fi worked excellently throughout the whole hostel which is great. There is a public fridge available for use and the hostel offers laundry for 18 ringgit for 3kg (we didnโt use this as it is cheaper to do self service nearby). The location is perfect and itโs very close to the limited number of shops and restaurants in Tanah Rata. You can also book tours through the hostel and there is walking tours every day. The staff are ok but reinforce rules about housekeeping very firmly, a bit too โschool likeโ for me, but understandable to try and keep the hostel clean and quiet. Overall, a good budget stay but Iโm glad we didnโt have to spend more than 3 nights, but perfect for backpackers on a budget.

The hotel is very enviroment friendly which is great for clearing your mind and to have a relaxing holiday.The room has a lot of windows that gives you natural lighting and chilled night too.Unfortunately, the toiley does not have bidet but it has a different toilet bowl for cleaning.Besides, there's also not much channel on the tv as well as old fridge, the freezer dosen't work.It was full of ice.Lastly, this hotel is quite strict since you have to book the room according the number of your family members.Example, you have to book a family sized room for family of 4.Will come again for sure because its a very lovely and nice hotel!

GGuest UserThe staff at this property saved from sleeping on the street on our first night in Tanah Rata due to a problem between the hotel we booked and the agent (the big โAโ). We rolled up at about 10pm after dragging our luggage across town. Note: difficult to find taxi or Grab after 9pm. They gave us a room for the night but we stayed for 3. The staff were great, especially Elaine, who provided heaps of useful guidance and also organized our self-drive motorbike tour. She's a gem. The property is quiet and pleasant. Good public areas and grounds. Prices competitive. We had a double with private en-suite. Hot water was useful in this climate. Internet was a little unreliable. Didn't sleep well but that was mostly due to change in climate. Clean and sure to be a success, especially compared to our intended hotel.

AAnonymous UserStrategic location to stay cuz there are a lot of shops nearby of you need something. There also various restaurants for breakfast till supper. Lots of parkings. Lifts works well. Water host for main bathroom already broke but not been fix. Also main bedroom floor wet and slippery during check in. There is no bath towel provided, so please bring your own. Phone line in the house not really really good but they provide wifi.

KKimie Rezaselamat mnginap di hotel pg dn blik 3h2m.. majoriti puas hati dn brbaloi dgn harga, services baik ade nk komen mngkin.. kmudhan jela, tp ble fkir harga agk brbaloi, yg lain sume tkde msalah sngt rekomen.. dkat dgn kdai2 rncit, kdai mkn, bank, masjid, blai polis dn mcm2 lg.. cme kalo nk ke brinchang sdikit jauh la dn jln2 ke kea farm.. yg lain mmg terbaik mngkin ade mse akn dtg lg๐

FFaten ShakilaThe hotel located at tanah rata. The hotel is upstairs and its shoplot area. The restaurant and other shorps located just around the corner. Walking distance to CH terminal bus and padang awam. Sharing bathroom. Its not suitable for family with kids because this is not a silent place since we are sharing with some disrespectful people sometimes.
