This was my second time visiting Angono for Higantes. The year before I stayed at a hotel in Taytay because I didn't know about this little resort/bed & breakfast. Got a great deal on the two night stay but was a little worried due to some of the reviews I've read. I'll admit, there was often a lot of people playing music or doing karaaoke by the pool and my bathroom/shower room was separate from the bedroom but it was a private bathroom. I can only assume that the complaints about bad service are related to people who no longer work at VJR because everyone I came into contact with was helpful and friendly. All in all, especially considering the price I was very happy. The room was very large, clean and comfy with a very big and very soft bed. If you visit Angono for Higantes or any time of year to soak up the food and culture of the art capital of the Philippines Villa Jhoana is an ideal place to make your homebase!

We chanced upon Altaroca Resorts when we searched for top resorts/accomodations in Antipolo. With less expectations during online booking, we were greeted by a friendly security guard who ushered us to the parking area and to the reception/front desk and by the housekeeping staff who assisted us with our bags up to our rooms. The staffs are all approachable and friendly. The rooms (we booked the twin sharing and triple sharing rooms) are modern and clean with comfortable bed and pillows. It is good that the shower comes with a heater. We enjoyed the 3 pools (kiddie, lounge and lap pools). The food is also very good. Downside though, since it is a mountain resort, the rooms,restaurant, pools are only accessible via stairs. Overall, the resort is a very nice place to chill, relax and unwind. We enjoyed our long weekend stay in Altaroca. Highly recommendable! And we will come back, definitely!

Location is accessible to Taytay provincial hospital, police station, church , shopping Centre and Taytay Market, Bathroom tiles has mild dew and the table is visibly unclean, rusty shower and towel rack. I noticed some sacks of cements and pail of paints near the Lift so I’m assuming they’re doing some renovations. I hope next visit would be spotless 😄 The room is unexpectedly spacious. Clean but Torn towels. ( the laundromat staff might projected his anger to the towels🤣🤣🤣) I slept well. So far they have the MOST COMFORTABLE BED I slept within the week among 4 hotels . The receptionist let us in 1 hour before our check in, the Security guard is very helpful. Search the mystery object in the toilet😆

Her genuine passion for her work and attentive service made the experience even more enjoyable and personalized. The managers at the Ridge Cafe deserve special mention for their professionalism, unwavering hospitality, and infectious jolliness. They ensured that every meal was served with care and attention to detail. They effortlessly managed the bustling café, yet never failed to accommodate our specific requests and dietary preferences. Their dedication to providing excellent service was evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting positive impression on us. Moreover, the staff at the pool area reflected the same level of commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction. They were always available to assist with our needs and consistently made us feel comfortable. Whether it was providing extra towels, adjusting the poolside umbrellas, or delivering refreshing beverages, they attended to every request promptly and with a genuine smile.

Fluffiest pillow indeed! And mattress too! Well thought facilities and amazing staff. There's free coffee and tea that the guest can use anytime. Soap & shampoo provided there's even a slippers. But most of all security stands out you have your own keys for the room and gate. Stay amazing!

Very convenient location since we had to attend Snoh Aalegra’s concert in Filinvest Tent. Check-in time took quite a while but the staff are very courteous and helpful. Pool area was good and the room was huge could actually fit 4 people. Bakery downstairs had really good pastries and the hidden bar was cool.

My stay exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of a fantastic location, excellent service, and comfortable accommodations made for a memorable visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone whether for business or leisure.

Was a good stay, although we have to shift room due to Aircon issue. Also the room maid did not do such a good job cleaning the room last 2 nights. Location is good. Some friendly front desk except for the staff named Molly (gave us a annoyed facial reaction) nonetheless we recommend Sam and Charisse.
