We were upgraded to a sea view room which was nice. But it was different from the pictures. The so-called direct access to the beach was not reliable because the balcony was full of bushes and the beach was too small to play. We just went there to lie flat and sleep for three days.

The feeling of vacation is full when you enter the hotel. The room is OK but there are a lot of bugs. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel, Italian, Asian and buffet. There are some tourist restaurants around the hotel, which are not recommended. It takes about half an hour to drive to any restaurant that is worth your attention. When you check out, you should take a good look at the bill. There are several extra items such as turtle protection fees for no reason.

The room can go directly to the beach. The hotel is very large and has a nice fragrance. There is a gym and a spa. You can play billiards and table tennis. It is a resort-style hotel, suitable for lying down for a few days. The fruits and drinks for breakfast are rich and fresh. Good reviews

First-class environment, invincible sea view. The breakfast buffet has a complete variety, and there are more European guests. There are many kinds of small animals in the hotel, and man and nature live in harmony. The pool villa booked is calculated on a per capita basis. It is best to bring an extra bed with children. It will take a while to wait for the bus, and you can also take a walk by yourself. The welcome and farewell ceremony at the hotel is very special.

Thisari was brilliant! Upon check in you are assigned your own assistant to help with reservations, day planning etc. Thisari didn’t miss a thing, 5 stars. Property is beautiful and rooms are divine. Food and drinks delicious, though expensive. If we came back we would consider all inclusive next time. Thank you

The loveliest staff at the most relaxing hotel…from the moment we arrived we knew we had arrived somewhere special…the location and set up from the beach to the pool to the design of the hotel is simply stunning. The highlights included the food from the international themed buffet to the Asian & Italian Al Carte restaurants & the movie night on the beach. First and foremost though is the staff who are so welcoming and accommodating. Shout out to Anthony the Butler who never turned down a request and made our needs his top priority. I cannot recommend this place enough!

My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here and we had an incredible time! The entire resort is beautiful and service is exceptional. We highly recommend both dinner restaurants and the spa and gym facilities. The environment and views felt quite similar to Hawaii.

We have just had an amazing time in Sri Lanka staying at the Anantara, Peace Haven - Tangalle Resort. Sri Lanka is a fantastic country and the hospitality shown by everyone was incredible. Including everyone at the resort, and especially Thisari Navoda, our Personal Resort Host, who could not have done to make our stay special.

The best resort i've ever been to everything was amazing. Best staff best host Shafraz nawas best food all the staff was nice and amazing from the receptionist to the life guard at the beach best experience ever i hope i visit it again even the service is amazing and the take the best care of the guest i loved this resort so much thank you anantara

We had a great time at the Peace Haven Tangalle. We stayed there for a week and loved every minute. Having 2 active kids and coming in the rainy season, we were worried that there wouldn’t be enough to do. Were wrong. The hotel: The pool was lovely, beach was stunning (although not swimmable) and there was loads of wildlife in the grounds. Peacocks, monkeys, mongoose, water monitors were all around. The kids loved checking them off the list when they went on the nature walk (arranged by the hotel). The kids club had great activities. The favourites were the kids yoga and donut decorating! The staff: The staff were also amazing. Kaush looked after us with everything we needed and went out of the way to make sure we were happy. The kids were very sad not to see him everyday when we left. Everyone at the 3 restaurants were great too. Always greeting us and interacting with the kids. We even went down to the Tangalle cricket club to watch the hotel cricket tournament where all of the different departments within Anantara competed. Congrats to the Engineering team who won! Location: It was a 3 hour drive from the airport which wasn’t ideal but once there, you have the benefit of getting to either Yala or Udawalawe national parks in just over an hour. This was a massive benefit as last time we came to Sri Lanka it was a 6hr round trip to go on safari. It was also 1 1/4 hours to get to Galle which was doable. There are quite a few local beaches that are very close to the hotel and reception can book a tuk tuk to take you. Thanks to Kaush and all at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle! We’ll be back soon!

I guess this the best experience i had over many resorts i experienced before, I’m really happy about my experience and i want to say much love and respect for Shafras and Chiefs Mohammed and the one in the morning I can’t remember his name for making my experience wonderful
