Room is clean enough. Staff also helpful when request for connecting room. Common area also well maintained. Private beach is a big advantage for whoever stay here.

Great atmosphere right by the sea. A wide variety of food options are available. The rooms are clean and spacious, equipped with a full range of amenities, including a hairdryer and an iron. There's even a drinking water tap in the bathroom, so you can refill water as much as you need.

The beachfront location was amazing! You can also enjoy local food within walking distance. The building is a bit old, but it's kept clean enough. No bugs. I highly recommend a sea-view room to enjoy the ocean scenery all day long.

Well it wasnt sparkly clean but the cleanliness was slightly above average. Easy access to beach which makes this hotel a tourist spot for staying. I would like to suggest they improvise on the breakfast. Nothing extraordinary about the breakfast for me.

From the moment I stepped out of the taxi, all the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly.
Since I was staying for two nights, I only had to pay the tax during check-in, with no additional deposit required.
The room was spacious and had a great view.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the swimming pool was also very good.
However, I did have to switch rooms once because there were dozens of ants in my original room.
Overall, I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay, and I'm grateful to all the staff.

"As soon as we arrived at the Mercure hotel, the bellboy was very helpful and the receptionist was friendly. The customer service overall was great. However, we had some issues with our room. We were given a connecting room, and unfortunately, the guests in the room next door were smoking. The cigarette smoke leaked directly into our room through the gap under the connecting door. On top of that, we found ants inside our room. I hope the management can look into better sealing for connecting doors and improve pest control, as the staff themselves are already doing a wonderful job."

Stay was excellent except for these:
1. The street noise from the motorbikes at night after 1 am;
2. The sink is stuck and the instruction sticker to unstuck the sink by the sink does not works.
3. The beach looks unkempt and really nothing to shout about.
But service, food and cleanliness was impeccable for a Malaysian hotel by far.
