My recent stay at Hotel Elios Taormina was far from satisfactory. The rooms are outdated and, to make matters worse, there were cockroaches in the room and mold in the bathroom. We were also charged an additional €60 for parking, which was quite a surprise.
The breakfast offered was extremely limited, consisting only of toast and a few sweet pastries. Despite the booking information stating that the rooms had mini-bars, there was no fridge in our room.
Moreover, the staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. During check-out, the receptionist was very rude and did not provide us with receipts for the parking fee or the city tax.
Overall, I would not recommend this accommodation to others. The price is high, and the rooms are not only old but also dirty. This experience was disappointing, and I suggest looking for other options if you are visiting Taormina.

Great Hotel, perfect location, minutes from the centre, yards from a wonderful garden. Typical Italian B&B hotel, we were lucky to upgrade to a really nice room with fantastic views over the bay. Very helpful staff, clean and tidy, continental breakfast, loads of pastries and cake, and coffee. If we had believed some of the reviews we would not have booked, but we took a chance and we were not disappointed, thanks to all at the Hotel Elios.

Great quiet location by beautiful gardens. Fantastic views of sea and etna from roof terrace. Very clean. Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent choices for breakfast. They have an arrangement with a small car park nearby €20 - try to arrange before you arrive. Very reasonable prices for Taormina

The Hotel was in walking distance from the Gates, Bus terminal and many fine cafe and restaurants. The views are just lovely of Mount Etna and beach. You will find everything here, hike the mountain to the Madonna Della Rocca Shrine. It will give you a unique experience back thousand of years ago and hurt legs! The hotel served nice breakfast and great service. This is certainly a well established hotel with great management. Thanks girls at front desks for your kindness and assistance during my stay🙏🏿 Check out the pictures for place with great food and Cannolis!

The hotel at first glance seems nice, in the following days we noticed that the food is not one of the best and they don't make any effort, in the room we saw that the towels and sheets are never changed, in which we saw urine and dust. It can't stay in these conditions so I will give it 1 star. At least in the rooms with people with more money they clean, with those with a little less they don't do ****

Definitely disappointing! Despite the definition of a 3 star hotel it cannot be considered as such. The location is certainly central with a common terrace overlooking a beautiful panorama, parking at €20 per day 350 m from the hotel but we were disappointed with the room. Small and cramped. Almost suffocating, even passing it off as a triple room. Not cleaned well, and without a minibar or even a bottle of water. Sin! We would have expected more.

As a group of four motorcycle riders, we stayed in this hotel for one night in September 2023. It is incredibly difficult to get to, we only found our way across a closed road. There is not even a parking space for a motorcycle at the hotel. There were also problems with the booking we made, at first they didn't want to give us a room. The room we got was small and not clean. Very musty smell coming from the mattresses. The bathroom was dirty with hair and the walls were moldy. Breakfast was typical Italian monotony. Refills are very sparse, if at all. Overall, the hotel is overpriced and in my opinion not recommended.

It does not have private parking, under an agreement, with €20/day. I did not find the room clean and it has never been cleaned during. The minibar didn't work and the breakfast is very poor. The location is beautiful with a view of the sea and 20 minutes from the center and 20 minutes from the beach with the shuttle which affects you a lot. Departure for the beach: 9.45am first and last time, returning back at 5.30pm. I don't know about the others but avoid them here.
