Before I came here, I saw comments that the money was stolen and the problem of non-sea-view rooms. I was very anxious. I was worried about whether to cancel the reservation and change to another hotel. After I checked in, I found the hotel was good! First of all, I did n’t have anything stolen, including jewelry and cosmetics placed on the outside. Secondly, this hotel is mountain side, so you ca n’t avoid seeing the mountains and the sea. No matter which room you stay in, there is no 360-degree sea view Room, balcony view can refer to the picture below, I think the view is very good; in the end, in fact, there is no saying that the Chinese are arranged in a room with a poor view, because my left side (closer to the mountain side is disadvantageous) Location) Two people live in Italy. I live in the United States with Americans on the right. I threw my pajamas on the sofa before going out, and when I came back, I saw that they were neatly stacked on the bed. Haha, I felt very intimate at once ~ If I come to Taormina next time, I will definitely choose this hotel ， Because it has an excellent location, you can walk down to the Love Island and up to the left to the main road of the town, and there are all delicious restaurants around the hotel. The location of this hotel is simply perfect and the wonderful staff make the place really feel like a home from home! We originally booked this hotel for a one week stay but it was cancelled and we were tokd this was because the hotel was undergoing renovation when in reality the hotel had closed because of a mabagement issue so had reopened under new management by the time we had arrived in Taormina and were booked in elsewhere. As soon as we discovered it had reopened i went there and booked us in for 4 nights of pure luxury! We had a deluxe room with terrace and jacuzzi there are only 3 of these rooms they are spacious with a beautiful kingsize bed the terrace has chairs and loungers with a lovely jacuzzi and the weather was amazing. Big shout out to Amber on reception and Giuseppe by the pool they really made our stay special. When i return to Sicily this is the hotel i will be booking without question! Right on the Corsa Umberto with view from the infinity pool to die for great cocktails plentiful breakfast and lovely lunches overlooking Taormina bay exquisite!

Breathe taking view, great attention to cleanliness Bfast is very good very professional front office staff.. however the restaurant staff are not friendly at all.. perfect location. Near bas stop and a corner away from the walking streets.. if i had to visit taormina again ill definitely consider this hotel again!!

The hotel is boutique and situated in a cove. The walk is tough to get around, so it’s not for people with mobility issues. The cable car was closed! The gym was closed (my husband is an international sportsman, so that was not ok for him). The food is ok for breakfast, however, they run out a lot and I had to keep asking for things. The beds on the beach are not great, neither are they comfortable. Bella island was also closed. It was May so it’s confusing how things were closed. The hotel was noisy, they had an event and were shouting and laughing whilst dragging (yes dragging) big furniture outside along my room on stones. Woke me up at 3am! Seriously. Very bizarre behaviour for a hotel. Certainly wouldn’t go back.

The breakfast is very good, the view is very good if you live on a high floor, and it is indeed very close to Bella Island. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the cable car after going down the mountain.
To go to the station, you can make an appointment with the front desk to take a taxi. It takes 5 minutes per person for 10 Euros.
What's more speechless is that we agreed to have a swimming pool, but directly said that the information on the website was wrong!

Fantastic B&B just few steps away from the most beautiful view on Sicily. Everything was clean when we arrived and the room was being cleaned every day after we left for our trips. The lady at the reception booked us a table with an amazing view at the restaurant she recommended and she was right - the food at Al Saraceno was fantastic. Breakfasts were delicious - sweet as well as salty. The coffee was very good and if you ask the lady who prepares the meals, she will make you fresh scrambled eggs. We had a great time there and if we visit Castelmola again, we will definitely choose the same place to stay. Only downside was that air confitioning was a bit loud.

I reviewed many you tube videos on packing for Sicily in October, forget them they are woefully incorrect. Everyone wears sneakers, Italians are still wearing white and yes they wear flip flops. Women were in shorts, tank tops and sun dresses as well as jeans. Casual attire in the most expensive restaurants in Taormina was the norm. We traveled all around Sicily from Palermo to Taormina to hill towns in Gangi. My advice wear what is comfortable for you and be respectful and polite, you will have a fabulous time.

GGuest UserThis hotel is a little dated but don’t be fooled. After a day, you don’t even notice. It is run very efficiently in all depts from my observations over a 2 weeks stay here. Location is great with a free bus up to the town and the panoramic views of Etna are stunning at breakfast. What makes this hotel the perfect stay is the consistency of staff behaviour. They are so helpful and friendly in all depts and at all times. They didn’t need to; be but they were. I was so sad to leave and I think i will miss that staff more than the place. Shout out to Grazia, Marco, Giacamo #dreamteam and the beach bar youngsters! Guiseppe and the restaurant gang. The amazing Salvos who effected a rescue to help a passing boat. #heros. Can’t recommend enough. See for yourself.

GGuest UserAl Duomo is not a hotel. In fact it has no reception. Everything is done by secure email. Piazza Duomo is the most charming piazza in Taormina with full of restaurants. Right next to the Piazza is Al Duomo Rooms & Flats. Room is clean, functional, and has a view of the Piazza. No elevator but we did not mind. Some hotels charge thousand euros per night. Not sure why. I prefer this place over The Belmond. It is not because of the price. It is cause I was able to sleep late two days in a row. When I am in Taormina Al Duomo Rooms & Flats is my place to stay.

CChristina PabloWe had a last minute change with my husband and my father (52, and 83) to Taormina and so it was a challenge with very little prep time where to stay in a vertical place with my elderly father who is in good shape but challenged by long walks, inclines and extreme heat. We did it all-- close to the bus station (4 minutes), Corso Umberto (8 minutes), the Antico Teatrico and the view cannot be beat. There's souvenir shops and a mini mart within 4 minutes walk and the cable car is also only 5 minutes away. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and the views. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning before leaving. No one could be more helpful or nicer in this hotel.
CONS: It's a steep driveway to climb up and down for the elderly. Watching my dad in either direction was a little dicey and with his blood thinners I did not want him to take a spill.
PROS: Everything else.

I write a lot of reviews and I probably would give this hotel a 5 but the bed was just too hard and I don’t like just a sheet ( although pretty normal for European standards). But other than that this place is outstanding for my liking!! The fellows are the front desk are so helpful and kind. The breakfast is amazing with excellent cappuccino. The location can not be beat. Right on the main cobblestone street with a balcony to sit out and enjoy your wine. Amazing atmosphere! It has a safe, good blow dryer, decent bathroom lighting and a small shower. The air conditioner works well. If you are a larger person the bathroom may be tight including the shower. Although you are right along the main busy pedestrian area, when u close your balcony doors it’s silent. Very quiet hotel but I was here at end of October so that could of been why as well ( temperatures still 25 and people swimming) I really really like this hotel. Probably one of my favourites I’ve stayed at in Europe. I hope to be back!

The scenery is good, the environment is good, the hotel looks very new, the lady at the front desk is beautiful and enthusiastic, always smiling and talking. There is also a swimming pool. Parking is a bit far away, but drive around the road, park the car and walk up the steps to the hotel. 17 euros per day. breakfast is also good

GGuest UserAlthough you can't enjoy a private beach in winter (the winter beach is closed), you can feel the Christmas atmosphere everywhere on the street. The location of the hotel is very good, just walk around the town to eat and walk. The balcony of the room faces the street view and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of TAORMINA every morning. The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic and will assist with various issues. The next visit will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The Hotel was in walking distance from the Gates, Bus terminal and many fine cafe and restaurants. The views are just lovely of Mount Etna and beach. You will find everything here, hike the mountain to the Madonna Della Rocca Shrine. It will give you a unique experience back thousand of years ago and hurt legs! The hotel served nice breakfast and great service. This is certainly a well established hotel with great management. Thanks girls at front desks for your kindness and assistance during my stay🙏🏿 Check out the pictures for place with great food and Cannolis!
