Otherwise, you have to wait until someone comes out before you can go in and check in by yourself.

I forgot my glasses at the hotel, so I asked the lady at the front desk to ask for help. The housekeeping staff said they didn't see them. I don't know if they were carelessly cleaned or if they were thrown away! Although I accidentally left it at the hotel, I still hope that the cleaning staff will see the lost items and hand them over to the front desk staff.
