Taoyuan Hotels with Pools

a 5 star hotel but feels pretty basic like 3 star. some distance from mrt station. location a bit far. looks porch but a bit lower than expectation for a 5 star. comes with spa but is actually sauna. pool is closed in dec. have gym but didnt go. room has no de humidifier. no hair conditioner. could have better tea in room. towels look a bit dark (off white). just a large bathroom.

My quarantine stay at Monarch was excellent. Since I was a frequent traveler and had stayed there a few times before, they upgraded me to an executive room for my 8-night stay. I truly enjoyed the many big windows, the great view, and the renovated room with the spacious bathroom. My room number was 1206 and I strongly recommend it. Effective 8/6/22, Monarch changed back to a regular hotel with no options for quarantine stays. My husband and I stayed here in Mid-August for 2 nights with free breakfast delivered to the room. We stayed in room 1402, which was a corner renovated room and not bad, but not nearly as spacious as the previous room. Both rooms had views facing the scenic park and that helped make our stays very satisfying.

Instead of directly turning off the power supply at the scene, the parking fee can only be reduced for 4 hours, but the business staff promised to ”completely free” at that time, and asked to know: free during the 4-hour lease period, may the table set at 13:00, will the customer not wait at the venue first? Will the departure at 17:00 not be delayed? Writing MAIL in 112/7/14, Gao surnamed manager promised to deal with and reply to 112/7/17, but so far 112/7/27 has not received any reply.

The Westin Tashee Resort in Taoyuan was an excellent getaway. The property is a little bit o it of the way, but it was well worth the trip. The service and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked on amenities. We had a good view of the mountains. The best part of the resort was all the activities and the pool. The outdoor pool was clean and just the right temperature. There was an open bar from 8:00 to 9:30 that was fun and had performers. Lots of Activities for kids as well. My only criticism would be the quality of the food in the buffet. While they had a lot of options, including western food, it was in my opinion poorly executed for the price. We tried both the dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet. For example, the eggs were too watery, the bacon not crispy enough during breakfast. Dinner the meat was dry. High points of the buffet is the selection and the Indian food. Surpassingly, the lobby bar (cafe?) had a great club sandwich, and was the best meal of the stay.

Excellent service and great location. Lots of eateries around and a few minutes walk to Tong An market. Macdonalds and FamilyMart right across the hotel. Carrefour Jingguo outlet is behind the hotel, about 5 minutes away.

”The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was amazing with plenty of fresh and healthy plenty choices. We thoroughly enjoyed the food! The staffs were always motivated to help us, staff are all friendly. But on the other side, is the swimming pool, I didn’t enjoy that much because a lot of people there. Pool was not really big . Can’t relax that much children and parents are shouting. But I really enjoyed private hot spring.

The front desk clerk was polite and answered all questions. I booked a snoopy room, but the bedsheets and quilts in the room were not snoopy. It was really disappointing. We only came to this hotel for one night just for the snoopy. The price was already very expensive and it was not worth it. Except for a large piece of glass with a snoopy on it, the other equipment has no snoopy and I don’t know what kind of snoopy room this is. The snoopy shop on the 3rd floor is very beautiful, but the prices of the goods are a bit high, there are too many check-in points, and the gashapon machines are a bit bad. They should all be for twisting out snoopy dolls. Some of them will twist out other non-snoopy dolls, which is a bit disappointing. . The breakfast tastes good, but the variety is a little lacking. The poached eggs do not taste good at all if they are cooked and placed in an insulator. They have to be boiled and eaten immediately to taste.

I stayed at this great Sheraton for 3 nights last week while on a business trip to Taipei. My business was mostly at the TPE airport which was perfect as the hotel is only about a 15 minute Uber ride. Check in was easy and the staff at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. My room was excellent, very large with all the great Marriott amenities including Nespresso. I was on the 9th floor and also had access to the Executive Lounge which was quite nice. I spent a few early mornings there doing email and having coffee. The breakfast at the hotel is outstanding and has an egg station for omelets and both western and Asian authentic food - well worth it. I also went to the lobby bar a couple times in the evening and was the only patron, but the bartender was very nice and they had a nice selection of beers and cocktails. My only small critique is there is nothing in walking distance except a 7-Eleven across the street. This was fine for me, but note that taking an Uber to the city will take about 90 minutes in the early evening. Overall, the staff was excellent and the hotel was perfect for what we needed, I will be back next time.

This resort consists of a hotel and a golf resort. The rooms were spacious, the climate control was efficient, the rooms were clean and quiet. We had booked accomodation plus breakfast plus dinner. The food was chinese-style, i.e. for children from Europe who prefer western food, it might be difficult to find something they like. The room had a spacious fridge and cupboards. The bathroom was fine and had a japanese-style toilet with heated seat, heated water brush etc. The resort is not in town but outside. There are no nearby shopping facilities or restaurants. One can use the hotel restaurant, I believe almost the whole day. If you come as tourist, I would advise to use Uber or a rental car. The drive to Taoyuan center or airport is about 30-40 min, to Taipei about 40-60 min, depending in the traffic. The staff was not speaking English, but we rapidly solved all questions because they were so nice and helpful. The pool is smaller than shown in the advertising image. A good perspective was used.
