Absolutely fantastic hide away Hotel in the mountains.
Not far from Porto. Pedro has an amazing Eco hotel and cares a lot about the guests. Very highly recommendable.

Espaço muito bonito, com grande variedade de belas flores. O staff é de grande competência e simpatia, a piscina muito boa e o restaurante oferece uma carta que embora pudesse ser ainda mais desenvolvida, apresenta suficiente variedade para uma estadia curta. Destaca-se o sossego e o ambiente familiar. Creio que o espaço é bastante recente, mas com a dedicação do staff se irá certamente afirmar como uma referência da região. A presença dos animais é um ponto extra, que as crianças adoram.

Aldeia da Margarida is a top quality “rural accommodation”! The hotel is very new and everything has been thought out in detail, from the architecture, to the decoration, to the comfort. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, in the middle of nature, everything reminds us of peace, tranquility and rest. Although I went on a couple's vacation, I recognize that it is a great place for families with children, as it has an area with farm animals, a vegetable garden, a swimming pool with a garden surround. The small restaurant with a terrace for guests only is great and the food is very well prepared. Not to mention the delicious breakfasts with regional products. Above all and very important, it is the two ladies who give us all the support in all areas, Cláudia and Tânia, true hosts with all the warmth and friendliness of the "Women of the North... damn!". I highly recommend this accommodation.

Desde o momento do check in até ao momento do check out, tudo correu de forma excepcional. Atendimento personalizado, num ambiente familiar, instalações fantásticas e com imensa higiene. A comida totalmente caseira com os sabores fantásticos e uma carta de vinhos de qualidade para acompanhar. Pequeno almoço bem português com fruta do próprio pomar da Aldeia da Margarida. As crianças deliram a dar de comer às ovelhas e cabras anãs... Por estes motivos é por outros que me possam estar a escapar só podia dar nota máxima. Voltarei no Verão para desfrutar da piscina...

Ficámos por 3 noites na Aldeia da Margarida. Foi uma surpresa muito agradável! O quarto Maracujá era muito confortável, com uma decoração simples e elegante, muito acolhedora, e cheio de luz! As refeições eram servidas numa sala aquecida por uma bela lareira, e a acompanhar a refeição temos sempre música ambiente! As refeições confecionadas com vários produtos da própria horta. Tem também muitos espaços verdes, com criação de animais, que já fazem parte da Aldeia (galinhas, patos, ovelhas, cabrinhas anãs..) Nota-se a atenção ao pormenor. A tudo isto, junta-se a hospitalidade familiar da dupla Cláudia e Tânia, e sentimo-nos verdadeiramente em casa. Foram fantásticas, sempre disponíveis, comunicativas e genuinamente bem dispostas!! (não deixem de provar a tarte de maracujá, da Tânia, e o Cheesecake da Cláudia!!!) Viemos revigorados destes dias de descanso! A parte menos boa? A dificuldade que foi para nós deixar este cantinho! :)
