We were extremely pleased with our lunch meals and our waitress (Katie) was most attentive. There was a good choice of gluten free options available in the sandwich range, for which my wife had the fish fingers, although they were more like fish cod Gordon's.

Came for a drink on fathers day and it’s a nice pub with traditional decor but modern with lots of space and decent outdoor area. Had an issue when buying a soft drink. A half pint of lemonade with a “dash” of blackcurrant: £4.35. I questioned this with another member of staff after realising that this was extortionate for a soft drink and the waiter who I think was the manager said a half pint of lemonade with blackcurrant should be £3.25, but then when I told him how much I paid he said oh yes it’s £4.35. I am sure he was lying to cover up their mistake. Wouldn’t go back.

A warm and welcoming small hotel. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Any little issues are met with kindness and helpfulness and put right straight away. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Relaxed ambience and lovely decor. South facing courtyard for a drink before dinner.

From the time we arrived drinks took half an hour and food an hour. Half my chicken was too tough to eat. This is a lovely place. I’ll be back but hopefully things will improve. The rest of the food that our party ate looked and tasted ok according to them.

A pleasant surrounding. Good parking which is always something we look for. Room clean, tidy, warm and welcoming. Staff could not do enough for you.

A one night stay to visit a friend.
Very nice room (though slightly musty smell on entry). Very pleasant public rooms and a really good breakfast.
