I needed a room block for a group of wheelchair-bound teenagers coming to DFW for a basketball tournament. They're the coolest group of kids you could ever hope to meet, and the DOS/GM, Kim Chong, initially was very responsive and offered a great rate. Then she stopped responding to me. It took me two days to get the booking link she'd promised because she wasn't competent enough to send it to the correct email. Then she denied the kids the ADA rooms that we'd been promised, stating the hotel doesn't have them. Either she was lying or in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Unfortunately, Kim is so incompetent that she didn't look to see what was going on in her own market that weekend: Cowboys playoff game, UIL Cheerleading, Ft. Worth stock show and rodeo. I wouldn't have offered a $78 rate that weekend! If I had, though, I do at least have enough integrity to stick to my word. Kim? Not so much. She canceled all of our rooms four days before we were supposed to arrive, leaving 10 disabled teenagers and their parents, as well as the two volunteer coaches, with nowhere to stay. This is discriminatory and gross. I'm hearing from my friends in the area that this was a blessing in disguise. One friend knows multiple people who've had their vehicles broken into here, and their property is tired and desperately in need of an update. The customer service is atrocious, and they have zero leadership. Apparently, Kim is the only manager and she is NEVER THERE. Run far away. You'll be glad you did.

It's a Hampton Inn. I love staying at the Hampton when I can find great deals. Breakfast is always on point, as well as the coffee, and service from the front desk. The gym and pool are always so nice. This Hampton was just as nice as all the others I have stayed at. I had a wonderful stay here.

This was a Stockyards weekend for a friend’s birthday. It started at checkin getting the 3 couples all checked in with separate 1 night reservations over 2 nights. Brechelle Larkins at the Front Desk handled it with ease, a lot of enthusiasm, professionalism, and serious empathy toward our large group. I am just getting back into business travel and Marriott seems to have kept or built a great team at this property. Brechelle was so friendly and full of energy as she saw us over the two days as we went in and out of the lobby numerous times. She still remembered my name, think how that makes your guests feel! We had great rooms, new and clean, with cool views. The Atico Roof Top Bar had great food and drinks, staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The pool was fun one afternoon with a lot of fun tourists in town. Breakfast was really fresh, the lobby bar bartender dealt with us a lot and she was always friendly. Overall we’ll be back a couple more times this year as The Stockyards is a fun staycation in DFW.

We arrived early and were very grateful that we were able to get a room a couple hours before checkin time. While I was checking in, there was an extremely unprofessional lady (I think she may have been the manager) on the phone speaking extremely loudly and ghetto (it’s the best way to describe her conversation). She was on the phone speaking about getting keys from another location because this location was had low quantity. She went on to say something about the payment and a check needing to clear. I attempted to block out the conversation while I was being checked in but she was sooooo loud. The young lady checked us in and I was actually surprised that we did not receive any type of welcome gift similar to what we receive for elite status. Not even water. We were in a corner room with an amazing view. The room was spacious; however, the bathroom was very tight. The toilet is literally in front of the door which made it tight getting in and out of the bathroom. The room was overall clean, except the floor doesn’t seem to be mopped often. I accidentally dropped some food and got a wet paper towel to wipe it up and it was filthy. The location is perfect with access to lots of high end restaurants. However, gluten free options are limited. I stayed at a different hotel about a block or so away earlier during the summer and it was an absolute struggle trying to find good gluten free options in this area. I doubt that we will return to this location, although I really wanted to like it.

I booked a room, dinner, valet parking, and a spa treatment as a gift for a friend. She really enjoyed the hotel. She loved her massage at the spa, and she said dinner at Whiskey & Rye was good. I’m glad she enjoyed her stay so I definitely feel like it was worth it, but this is my first time dealing with a luxury hotel and I’m a bit surprised that everything seemed so difficult. For starters, I booked the room online. I called to confirm I’d done so correctly because it was a gift and I didn’t want any problems. Initially, I was told the room needed to be in my name and that my friend could be listed as an extra person in the room. I was told that the manager would email me a credit card authorization form and that I’d need to fill it out and fax it back by a certain date. I never received a form so I called back. I was told that the room needed to be in my friend’s name and that I’d be emailed the authorization and I could email it back when I filled it out. I got an authorization link but it wasn’t a form I was meant to fill out, it was just for prepayment but it was listed for $0. I called back again and asked to talk to a manager just to make sure there wouldn’t be any issues. He set me up with everything and said he’d email the authorization. It never came through so I had to call back. Eventually, I got the proper authorization link and prepaid. My friend had no issues with her stay. One thing I found annoying was that I prepaid for a 50-minute massage at the spa. I also paid for a $50 activity credit for dinner. I noticed I was overcharged and my friend said her card was charged as well despite the manager assuring me they just needed her card on file, that I’d be the only one with charges for the accommodations, taxes, and incidentals. Again, I had to call several times and ended up never being able to speak to who I needed to. I emailed corporate and I got connected to who I needed to, but it’s a process and each email reply takes 24-48 hours. I was told that the massage actually costs $50 more than the credit I’d paid for, which seems misleading. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t attach a monetary value to the spa credit instead of advertising it as a fully paid 50 minute massage. Because of that, the credit I’d purchased to cover dinner was applied to the spa treatment, which meant I’d paid $52 for dinner out of incidentals. It’s not a huge issue, but it just feels misleading. The charge on my friend’s card also fell off and I was told that someone should’ve explained she’d have a hold placed on that card in the event of damages. No one did, and I would’ve paid more toward the room and incidentals initially if I’d known that. I’m really glad my friend enjoyed her stay but I don’t know if I’d feel inclined to book here again in the future. The added packages seem more like a headache than just paying for stuff outright. Overall, I wish things were communicated more clearly because it was a confusing process and not something I re

A hotel for temporary transit before catching an early flight. The hotel is very clean. I chose a room with a view of the airport on the 11th floor. The night view and sunrise are beautiful~~ and you can open the door to the small balcony👍 However, friends who like quietness should not choose this room, because even if you close the door, you can still hear the sound of the plane taking off🛫 and landing.
The hotel does not have slippers, toothpaste, toothbrushes and other items. Friends who book here should be prepared~~
Simple meals, coffee, fruit cups and other things can be bought on the first floor of the hotel. Basically, the needs of a temporary night can be fully met.
There is a free shuttle bus to the airport every 20 minutes at the entrance of the hotel 24 hours a day🚌 It is very convenient. Just stand in front of the sign of the terminal you want to go to and wait. We went to Terminal E, D and E are the same sign. After getting on the bus, the driver will also confirm which terminal you want to get off~

GGuest UserThis hotel was exceptionally clean, as I’m sure most of it has to do with the fact that it relatively brand new. And the staff was cleaning continuously. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable! The bed and the pillows were the most comfy I’ve ever slept in and the room gets super dark when you pull the shades, even in the middle of the day. Our room had just a shower, it would’ve been nice to have a shower tub combo, but all in all I will give this room and hotel five stars! The location is ideal for shopping and restaurants close by. And also, it’s on the outskirts of Ft. Worth, so traffic isn’t too terrible getting around. Breakfast was good and had a decent selection, waffles, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, muffins, juice, and coffee. Negative: Pool was freezing! I thought for an indoor pool it would be heated…
ZZD & LDThis is a great hotel situated in a convenient location with several options for dinner and activities. We were happy with the layout and overall quality of the hotel. The in room kitchen amenities were awesome so we could stay in and relax. Our only draw back about the experience was sleeping. Large king size bed so no complaints on room however very uncomfortable. The linens were sparse and feather pillows not as comfortable as I would have imagined considering the caliber of the other amenities.
If you don't require the fluff and comfort in the bedding amenities you are solid with this hotel choice. I give this hotel a solid 4.5 for convenience and comfort for business but if you want to have the luxury of a vacation and soft pillows to bat considering a higher price point.
Overall this hotel, staff and amenities are top notch for a simple staycation. I might also mention no fault by any of the hotel staff or affiliations they seem to be dealing with car break ins. There was a small incident that was handled very professionally by staff I noticed check out day. Parking is ample and close this was surely just a matter of coincidence and staff was on top of ensuring guest and belongings were top priority.
Thanks Hilton, great stay. Suggestion...no more feather pillows 😁
GGuest UserHad a blast. Everything was located downtown and within walking distance. The valet drivers was wonderful and very helpful. The staff was wonderful also. Whenever we needed anything, they brought it within 5 minutes or less. My only negative was there was no phone in the room to actually call the front office or housekeeping. I will definitely be back.
GGuest UserWe had four families staying here for Spring Break. We chose this place because it was close to Six Flaggs, had a basketball court and indoor pool for the kids to play in. Court was great the first night, but second night was overloaded with a church group from the adjacent hotel, that they share the court with. No problem, so the kids can go in the pool, nope, it was freezing and indoor! Apparently the heater for the hot tub was broken, I assume it heats the pool too. On Wednesday we were told it would be fixed and still wasn’t on Saturday when we left. But at least we had the basketball court. First night our large group was able to hang out in the courtyard. Again fire pitt wasn’t working. And never got fixed while we were there. Last night was colder but there was enough room for us to spread out in the lobby. Snack for purchase area was good, they probably should have planned on stocking up since it was spring break for most of Texas. But kids could still find a few things. Breakfast, eggs every day, they were good. A different protein every day. Typical waffle maker, muffins, cereals, milk. No potatoes, and no fresh fruit. Fruit cups don’t count. That was a surprise. I’ve always seen bananas and apples at free breakfast buffets. Staff was nice. The guy there the first day, Joshua?, he was extremely nice, helpful, courteous, great guy. Two bedroom suite was great. Not new, not too old. Clean. Kitchen was stocked with a few things you may need. But bring large trash bags and dish soap for washing dishes if needed. Fridge has an ice maker. Beds were fairly comfortable. Pillows were all different types so you can hopefully find one you like. Location was great for restaurants and felt fairly safe. We would stay there again. Just hope the pool items were fixed.
GGuest UserLulu was very helpful and accommodating in with a issue that occurred in suite rooms 704 air conditioning and sink in which she came very quickly to resolve the issues There was a language difference but she was provided great customer service
PpjshooterkbThe staff very friendly n kind and understanding we lost our home to a fire a neighbor started n they let us stay in parking lot until we can check in I do recommend the motel it's easy to get to n you got some restaurants around but they always greet you with smiles and address you with respect the one young man name Dev so sweet he really knows how to treat the guest ,the matience guy very cool ,this other guy tall guy can't remember his name but I had messed up on the app making the reservation n he took the time to helps us fix the reservation n get us in the room . we are leaving Texas for had nothing but bad luck here ,but if you come visit Fort Worth this is the place to stay. If you want to be entertained n you like to shoot guns go to shoot smart on Lancaster n the 820 freeway another amazing place it's all family oriented but thank you all to the staff n manger n matience n housekeepers thank you all for you amazing hospitality much love from Kimberly n my husband keep up the great work u do
GGuest UserI stayed for 5 days in Middle of July 2022. Why we liked this place: This is a very nice hotel. There are some facilities that need to be upgraded but you can see that they are underway. The Pool areas is indoors as this is nice for when it is way too humid outside and/or storming which happens often. The pool did have a heavy chlorine smell and the water was a bit cloudy, Obviously from people not showering their kids or themselves prior to and when we went the pool was packed with kids. The staff was so kind and accommodating. They met every need. The staff was so nice and helpful when we needed something. It didn't seem fake at all. They all need to be commended! All shifts! One woman, who was obviously off one evening, was bringing food to her co-worker, helped me with a small issue, she wasn't even on the clock! The Breakfast was not bad at all. Very good selection of grab and go. They do have Scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage to serve-yourself. Oatmeal and cereals and limited selection of breads and pastries but it’s all very adequate. They also have a do-it-yourself waffle station. We got the whirlpool room and the tub in in the room with a wall partition. Plenty of room for two people to bath together. WiFi was free and worked well. BIG PLUS-THE A/C in the room was AMAZING!!!! The Downside: It is a bit out of the way if you are into the metropolitan areas but super close to Carswell military base. Right on the freeway with access to just about anywhere. My only real complaint was the facilities needs a coat of paint and the whirlpool room had a bit of a locker room smell, which I think is from the tub being in the room itself and carpeting up against it. The staff did give us heavy duty room spray which helped. Also, you have to tell them if you would like your towels refreshed and beds made. But these are all not too big of problems. We were on the first floor and our view was of the apartment complex next to the property but it was not bad. There really are no views of the wide open spaces. NOTE: THEY ARE BEGINNING THEIR RENOVATIONS!!! So I am expecting big things in the future. I will most certainly stay there again!!!
GGuest UserIt's a low cost but clean place. It's very close to the shopping mall and restaurants. Location is about halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth on I-10 in Arlington.
GGuest UserThis place is a true pit. Was given a room with garbage on the floor and something yucky on bathroom counter. Clearly no real cleaning had taken place. Immediately asked for new room and was shown another. This one was marginally better, and I was tired, so I accepted it. Still gritty and old and weird, and I regretted not bringing slippers because I didn’t want my feet in contact with that floor, but the bed seemed clean and it was surprisingly quiet. Woke the next morning and started the day, only to be greeted by a centipede coming out from under toilet, and the toilet not flushing. I packed up, went to front desk, and said I wanted to check out and get a refund for the remainder of my stay. First, I was offered another room. I said no. It was offered again. I said no again. The guy finally agreed to refund my remaining nights (got that on paper), but then called later to say his colleague who checked us in the night before said I “liked the room” and shouldn’t have a refund. Note to management: Tolerating something and liking something are entirely different things. This place is a health hazard, and my next call is going to be to the health department. Shame on Motel 6 corporate, too. It used to be a decent budget chain, but now they let franchisees slap their name on every variety of fleabag hotels, and I’m done with them!
