Absolutely loved my stay at The Bower House! 🌿 Nestled right in the heart of the rainforest, this place is a nature lover's dream. I had close encounters with brush turkeys, parrots, possums, and even tree kangaroos! The staff here are fantastic – super friendly and always ready to help. The Bower House itself is amazing: large, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. The fireplace was a cozy touch, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The views are simply breathtaking, and waking up to the sounds of the rainforest was an unforgettable experience. Just a heads up, the trails can get a bit muddy after the rain, but it's all part of the adventure! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying top-notch comfort and hospitality.

This was the most epic part of my whole trip to Oz!! Treehouse had 2 bedrooms and a lovely balcony which was visited by sooo many animals that I was like a kid in a sweetshop! Definitely something I would do again!! Highly recommend for any animal lovers..they give you a box of bird seed but I bought a few grapes to give them too! Lots of different birds, bush turkeys, pademelons, cassowary and possums!!

We spent a couple of days wandering around the trails and were bowled over by the birds, turtles, pademelons. With a bit of luck, we spotted cassowaries on our last morning - so so special. If needed, ask the owner where they were last sighted. The accom was nice and the log fire awesome. I’m not someone that is comfortable with bugs but even I found the overall experience was totally worth the closer proximity of creepy crawlies! The Atherton Tableland is truly a beautiful region.

What a special place! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Canopy Treehouse and would have happily stayed longer. This is a stunning pocket of beautiful Bush with private tracks to explore and wildlife a plenty. We were lucky to see platypus, cassowary, tree kangaroo, possum, pademelon, turtles and many parrots/birds. The Treehouse itself is beautifully presented with everything you could need for a comfortable self catering stay. The hosts were warm, welcoming and generous. Their recommendations helped us explore the region and also see so many great animals/birds. Would definitely return. It was a great experience for the whole family (we had a 2 year old and grandparents to entertain) everyone left with fond memories and smiles.

Our 3rd time here and absolutely love it! First time here was honeymoon 24 years ago and now coming with 3 teenage kids. No wifi is a huge plus, allowing teenagers to connect with family. Birds, possums, casuaries all come past your deck and food left to feed them. Turtles galore in the creek down the walking trails. Whilst 2 days will give you a taste of relaxing in a rainforest and sitting around the wood burning fireplace, treat yourself to 5+ days to truly unwind and detoxify your mind

Amazing experience from the moment we pulled into the property! Nature greeted us and showed us to our treehouse. It was so beautiful, spacious and most of all relaxing. We were immediately greeted on our deck by a possum with her baby on her back. So cute. In the morning we looked for the platypus and finally saw one the last morning. The king parrots, cat bird and cassowary all came by our treehouse. A highlight was the night walk we took with Nature to see all the creatures that come out at night. Hope to get back there in the future and stay longer!

Had the most amazing few nights at The Canopy Rainforest Treehouses and Wildlife Sanctuary. A once in a lifetime stay, totally immersed in nature on the most beautiful site! The treehouses are lovely and very well equipped with all you could need for a comfortable visit. My favourite memory was having a cup of tea on the balcony in the morning and watching the wildlife below :) Very lucky to see the Cassowary family multiple times during our stay :) So glad to have had this experience of the beautiful Queensland rainforest.

We stayed at The Bower House for 3 nights, a perfect retreat. The house was spotless, had everything we needed and more. I am terrified of insects but I assume that the rooms are sprayed because it was not an issue It rained for most of the time (to be expected in a rainforest) but did not spoil the enjoyment. The screen on the windows allowed us to leave the windows open at night, falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest in very comfortable beds Bird seed at the house tempted an abundance of tropical birds onto the balcony , a pandemelon and brush turkeys were regular visitors and we were delighted to be visited by a cassowary on our last day. So relaxing to lie in the spa bath with views of the forest. We had bought coal and firelighters for the bbq but they were not needed as the bbq is gas. Loved every moment of our stay and would recommend 100%

Perfect place to stay in the rainforest. We planned to make excursions in the area to seek birds and wildlife. They all came to us. Cassowaries and delicate little pademelons under our veranda. Green-winged pigeons, whip birds, catbirds, rifle-birds visiting. Missed one photo of rifle-bird because it was perched on camera. Scrub turkeys everywhere. Possums. Stream just below with turtles and platypuses. Complementary tour with resident nature expert, who pointed out tree kangaroo and fluorescent lichen. Cabins are charming, tucked into forest so you're unaware of neighbours and feel very private. Fire on cold evenings, well equipped kitchen, to cook at home, since it seemed foolish to be elsewhere. Highly recommended.
