Sofa Hotel

Service: the service was horrible. I would never book there or advice any one to book there. Upon arrival, the receptionist was looking at me frequently while talking to my husband and asked for more money than what trip agreed and that they only accept cash payment. Eventually we paid, but as we got to the room, they didn’t give us a key to the room and told us, the receptionist will use the master key to let us in whenever we go out of the room. As a result we stayed in the room the whole day without eating as we found it suspicious. It felt like because we were inter racial couple, they suspected our reason on using the hotel, but then again that’s not of there business. We are foreigners who came to visit the country for tourist reason and that’s all they should focus on as they could see our passport Cleanliness: the place was clean as it can be. Location: it was on the out skirt of most places but with a taxi you can get to lots of places very cheaply so the location wasn’t an issue Amenities: trip stated breakfast was included which is why I booked the hotel due to my dietary requirement. The following day, my husband went downstair to get some food for me as I fell ill, only to be told, he had to pay for the additional breakfast and that they lied to trip as they couldn’t find the option to click no breakfast. As a result my husband paid extra on top for a breakfast that was contaminated with meat when he clearly told them no meat. I didn’t eat and my husband had to go to the town all alone looking for food for me as I was not well. I was fuming. I contacted trip and they too lied about resolving an issue which they never got back to me. Again DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. One of the photos shows we was given a room where someone had tried to break all the doors in the room, now I know why. We felt doing the same
