This hotel is very nice and not far from the station. Staff try to facilitate every customer. I’ve been there on heavy raining day, The hotel prepare the equipment to make our stuff dry. The food is so delicious, various and well- prepared. The room and public bath is clean.

The friendly onsen ryokan is great value for money, and if you are traveling to Tateyama Kurobe alone, a night on the mountain is highly recommended. Location description: From Murodo Station, go to the observatory and turn left. You can see the road sign for the hot spring hotel. Go straight to the left, heading towards Yamanakako Hell Valley. There is a downhill road that is really difficult to walk in snowy conditions. The scenery is gorgeous. Yukata, towels, toothbrushes, etc. are all charged, and the price is acceptable. Dinner is a set meal, which is pretty good, and breakfast is a buffet style and is very rich. The cafe is open for self-service use by tourists after business hours. After checking out, you can leave your luggage in the restaurant or use the hot spring bath again. It is very friendly to tourists.

My 2nd time back here in the past year due to different seasons. Their onsen never ever disappoints. Just hope they make the onsen cleaner, though I do understand it's tough handling too many customers. Other wise, everything is perfect seriously 😍 Was also pretty lucky that a pair of raicho ended up playing right infront of the inn on the day I am leaving.

Beautiful location on top of Mt. Tateyama! Really glad to be able to get such a good deal including dinner and breakfast. I stayed on the top bunk, which was so stable and the ceiling was so high that I could stand totally straight on it as a 1.6m tall person. The staff were very helpful and other guests were also quite friendly. The onsen was not the most unique and relatively small, but the stay was still well worth it for the experience. The route was also mostly covered in snow, so as someone who was walking on snow for the first time, I took a while to get the accommodation, but thankfully the weather was great and the sceneries were breathtaking!

The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Murodoping. Because it snowed before, the original stone road turned into snow, making it difficult to walk. The hotel facilities are simple, towels and toothbrushes are more expensive to buy, and one hotel room and two meals are also simple, but in the plateau, it is very understandable. The best thing is to look out the window and see the snow-capped mountains and the starry sky at night, which is worth the price of admission. Next time I go to Tateyama, I will still stay here.

Is a nice and good onsen hotel. I stayed at the private room, there's no own restroom is all shared but as my room is just next to the restroom so is ok. All amenities you have to bring yourself, as if you don't you got to purchase from them.

Amazing views from the bath and rooms. It snowed heavily when we arrived and departed and the staff kindly offered to guide guests to the station at 9am. Truly, without which, we might have been in real danger as visibility was poor and it was very difficult to walk and follow the trail when markers are under snow. Snowshoes and poles are available for rent at 1000yen per person per day. Remember to bring your own toothbrushes, towels and yukata/pajamas as these must be bought or rented. Nevertheless, our stay was unquestionably an unforgettable one. I would like to thank the staff for sending to my last hotel in Japan, the spectacles I had forgotten at the sink. Unmatched service. Do not miss out on this chance to make an unforgettable memory!

Most affordable accommodation on Mt Tateyama! Well worth the price with the food, service and view. The main downside for me is that they only provide tatami mats, which were a bit too hard for me. It is also a 15 minute walk from the station, which can be tiring with luggage. They also provide amenities like indoor slippers and rain boots, which was a nice surprise. They charge ¥200 for a bath towel though, so bring your own towel.
