Native Sea Amami Adan on the Beach

The location is truly amazing! We were able to go right to the sea and enjoy the picturesque scenery from the terrace on the second floor, and had a wonderful time. The layout of the bedroom and bathroom on the second floor was very relaxing. It was very convenient to have a toilet and a TV in each room. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and be soothed by the starry sky at night. Since we booked for one night at the last minute, we could only choose the accommodation plan, but next time we would like to try the restaurant. It was also unfortunate that there was no stargazing event held during the full moon period. This is a hotel that you will definitely want to return to.

The food and the hotel were both excellent. It was the best hotel I've ever stayed at, including abroad. I also went scuba diving, and they were very kind to me, so I enjoyed it. I also encountered sea turtles on the private beach, which was great. You can go straight to the ocean from the balcony, and after you go to the ocean, there is an outside shower so you can rinse off the seawater. There is also a washing machine, so you can do the laundry and dry your clothes on the balcony, which was very convenient.

We stayed for 4 nights during Golden Week. We requested the room with the best location in this hotel. From the front desk to the right, superior A, B and C are arranged. We stayed in B. It was such a good room that we screamed when we entered. The best location, with a full view of the beach and ocean from the deck. By the way, superior A on the right is smaller than B. But it should be enough for two adults. However, there is no roof on the deck of A. I think the way you stay will change depending on whether you are worried about sunburn or not. However, since the bed is facing the ocean, I think it is enough from inside the room. I could see that C on the left was almost the same as B. I think the only difference is the view of the ocean from the beach. I think A and C also have a good view of the ocean. There are probably a few trees in the view. We stayed in room B, and there were no issues with the facilities. So, why is it a 3? Well, first of all... It seems that the room directly above this B room is a family room. To be honest, I don't recommend this to people who are noisy, don't like children, or are sensitive to noise. You'd better not stay there. You can tell right away whether they're in the room above or not. There are a lot of stupid parents. And at night, there are animals in the attic and behind the walls. There were days when they were running around all night while we were staying there. It almost feels like they're going to jump out into our room from somewhere. Even when we told the front desk, they gave us gibberish like, maybe a gecko? Maybe a viper? Apparently there have been mice in the past. We forced ourselves to think they were Amami black rabbits lol. Finally, the covered deck on the first floor is not suitable for use when it rains. Drops of water fall from above. You get wet. You should stop thinking that you can just spend the day on the deck even when it rains. I think the off-season is the best time to relax.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, so I was able to spend a pleasant time. The room was clean, spacious, and easy to use. The location was great. I stayed in a superior room on the first floor, and it was less than 20 meters from the room to the beach, so I could easily go directly to the sea in sandals. Since it is a bay, it does not directly face the open sea, so the sea is very calm, clear, and beautiful. I think it is a good place to spend a day relaxing and doing nothing. When I told the locals that it was a hotel between Akaogi and Kurazaki Beach, they all said, "Native Sea?" It seems to be quite popular. The food was mainly local cuisine, and many of the dishes were unusual, but they were all easy to eat and very tasty. You can choose between Japanese and Italian food, and they change the food every day, so you never get bored. The restaurant is in the main building, about 500 meters away, including the slope, but they will pick you up and drop you off. The main building where the restaurant is located is on a hill, so you can enjoy your meal while looking at the wonderful sea view. It takes about an hour and an hour and a half to get to the mangrove area and Koniya by car, respectively, but if you ask, they will prepare a lunch box for you in the morning, so you don't have to worry even if you want to leave early in the morning. I think this is a hotel that I can recommend.

In particular, the male staff member at the front desk was extremely helpful with his quick and thoughtful response and suggestions regarding the travel assistance system. Thanks to him, my stay at Adan on the Beach was even more enjoyable and happy. The white sand beach can be enjoyed as a private beach from each room, and guests can enjoy it in their own way, from morning to night, reading a book or enjoying a drink. The food at the Native Sea Forest Restaurant was also delicious and reasonably priced both in the morning and evening, and I was very satisfied. I will definitely return as a repeat customer!
