It s like a cabin, a bit noisy as you can hear next door, the washroom is not very clean, but worth the money

it was a very nice place. there was everything that you need and expect.

Three people traveled, 2 people lived in the living room upstairs with 2 single beds, and the other person lived in the innermost room with a double bed. In the middle was a simple kitchen and a dry and wet separated bathroom. Although it is a bit old, it is still clean. It is very quiet here, next to the spa thermal park, there is a hot spring pool at the end of the park, the autumn scenery is so beautiful

There are a lot of cockroaches. It’s not far from the waterfall but the conditions are really bad and the spa is almost unusable.

When I first arrived at the reception, my brother thought it was an abandoned place🤣 It turns out that the room is behind the reception. The room is basically clean, but there are a lot of scratches from the furniture on the walls. It is recommended not to use the instant pot. I boiled a pot just for cleaning, but it had a very strange smell🫠 There are all kinds of dishes, chopsticks, cups, knives and forks, but remember to wash them before using them. After all, you don’t know if they are really clean🤷🏻♂️ Okay, that’s probably it. It’s gone~

Everything was great, nice bed, quiet area and clean chalet. Would certainly recommend for a cheap option!

We loved the area, with a walk to hot pools and river bathing, and close to Taupo itself. The site is of historical interest, rough around the edges, but fascinating. The chalet had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money.

The first impression not good, they can really fix the road and the outside. When you arrive looks like you back in the 1930. The room was clean but no soap in the bathroom.

The overall look of the exterior i absolutely loved! Such awesomr history and character. The beds were nicely presented and comfortable but everything else was just gross. So dusty, mouldy and filthy. I was going to pull put the fridge/freezer to let it defrost but i was worried about what id find back there.. we didn't use the shower as it was grotty and mouldy. Dust grime amd mould on all the windows and doors. Staff were great calling us to let us know the reception would close soon so left out a key. However anyone could have accessed that box with no security.

We liked the rustic look of the buildings and loved the location. Our unit was homely. We noticed these things needed repair in it: tiles in bathroom missing, bathroom lock didn't work, fridge door damaging carpet (we put cardboard under front to lift it). It would make a huge difference to overall appearance of place if **** eating up to date, gardens done and fence tidy, (and, if money allowed, general maintenance of buildings)

My family and I had an overall excellent experience. Grandeur motel boasts of exquisite views and beautiful historic buildings! Loved it thank you so much I will definitely visit again.

Nice location, good amenities and space in accommodation. Badly needs facelift for the site, reorganise the outside space, then it will have great potential

Grounds need a little love very rustic, The bed in the room really comfy best night sleep ever.
