Die äußerst freundlichen Gastgeber Marie und Ken heißen ihre Gäste mit großem Hallo willkommen. Ein großzügiges helles Zimmer mit allerlei Goodies und ein komfortables modernes Bad waren für 3 Nächte unser Zusause. Morgens wurde stets ein sehr reichhaltiges liebevoll angerichtetes Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt serviert. Wir durften die moderne Küche zur Zubereitung eigener Speisen mitbenutzen und Marie vervollkommnete diese mit Kräutern und Erträgen aus ihrem eigenen Garten. Auch stand uns der geräumige Wintergarten für gemeinsame Speisen zur Verfügung, Familienanschluss inklusive. Einen Abend wurde der Außengrill angefeuert und Mary präsentierte uns frisch geräucherte Forelle für alle. Der Abend wurde stets gemeinsam mit einem guten Tröpfchen Wein eingeläutet. Tipps und Anregungen für Ausflüge und Restaurantbesuche gab es zuhauf, ebenso wie lange und unterhaltsame Gespräche und Diskussionen.

We stayed at "Stay Taupo" last night. We were given a very friendly welcome by Ken and Marie. They are very experienced B & B owners and they provided just what we wanted. The parking was easy and free. The home was warm,, comfortable and quiet. We had a room with a super king double bed which was ultra comfortable. There was great attention to detail and everything we needed was there. Everything works well and is extremely cleam. I could not fault it and will definitely be a returning customer. What is so nice is that it is only an 8 minute walk to the lake on a dedicated walkway, so no big road to cross and if you have children there is a new play ground right across the road. Our breakfast was delicious and the food was fresh and well cooked.
