Homewood Suites by Hilton Olmsted Village (Near Pinehurst, NC)

The hotel is clean with nice appointed rooms. Manager’s reception on Wednesday night was decent and breakfast in the morning was very good. Front desk staff, especially India, were excellent.

Wish I could give them 100 stars! The actual property is so well done & maintained with several outdoor covered areas (fireplace, pool and grill area). The rooms are comfortable & clean. Breakfast is more than the usual offerings you see at other places. The bar! Shout out to Terry!!! Parking is easy and plentiful. Shopping area across from them has a large grocery store and several restaurants with delish take-out when you're not in the mood to get dressed and go eat. BUT! The best part is the people!! All are gracious & friendly and will go out of their way to help you (Hey Kelvin). Over the years of staying there, some of them have become like family! When we go, it's more like a family reunion for us.

The hotel was just as I expected- clean , neat, well appointed. Beds were comfortable, lots of great pillows. Kitchen was well stocked. What made this experience outstanding was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, outgoing and honestly wanted to help. The breakfast was excellent and kept well supplied. The bar, while small, was very comfortable and the bartender was extremely attentive and friendly. The desk clerks went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.

The hotel fits Pinehurst well. The lobby is perfect for hanging out and the room was terrific, clean and spacious with all the amenities. Location is great, will stay again!

Pets welcome. Breakfast eggs and sausage were both cold. Some sausage looked like it had been served a few times before this morning.

Room was great and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Positives: Great suites for sharing a room. Large living area with a full kitchen that was well stocked in what you would need including a full size frig, microwave, stove and sink. Clean and quiet. Breakfast was decent and I appreciated them not using disposable utensils and dishware. Nice outside space with a fireplace. Negatives: We found a few roaches, but they addressed it quickly - treated our room - and no sign of issues during the rest of our 5 day stay. Our room overlooked the dumpster so I would ask for another view. Towels could be nicer - they were a bit scratchy and not very fluffy.
