The room was in a great location, just three blocks from the beach and in the heart of the Dizengoff area, which contains a ton of cute cafes and wine bars and shops! The property manager was easy to arrange check in and check out with and they were kind enough to provide late check out so we could stay until we left for the airport. Would absolutely stay here again!

The 2300 hotel is similar to the domestic Samsung, with small rooms and poor facilities. Because it was a Marriott member, it was upgraded afterwards, but the area is the same and it is slightly renovated. I “live” in hotels and rarely leave reviews or give 5 stars. Now, after spending 2 weeks in Sheraton Tel Aviv I just had to. There is just one word to describe my experience - AMAZING! The room with a view of the sea was phenomenal and housekeeping did a wonderful job. But the club lounge is indescribable. The people, the service, the food, the welcome were out of this world. Mazal is a total rock star. Anastasia, Adam, Guy were super. Janice and Mary outstanding. Lilah, Alexander, and Eugene made delicious food and deserve highest praise. I am ultimately familiar with hospitality and the club in this hotel is the golden standard. There is no better place to be if you are in Tel Aviv (or anywhere else for that matter).

What passed for a five star hotel in Tel Aviv in the fifties—or even in the eighties when this hotel was seemingly last updated—is no longer competitive. The hotel feels tired and sorely in need of updating and maintenance. Room furniture is beat up and worn, with really shabby carpet—at least in the deluxe city-view room category—and the pool area is sorely in need of a refresh and better maintenance—glass surrounding the deck area seemingly has not been washed in decades, reminding me of NYC subways in the seventies. The elevators are also really depressing, like a Time Machine to the days when Israel was a developing country. But what really lets the hotel down is the breakfast buffet. The dining room is poorly arranged, making even just reaching one’s table akin to navigating an obstacle course. And securing coffee is nothing short of an ordeal. A coffee stand staffed by just one server generates lines of guests worthy of a high school cafeteria. And if you should want milk for your coffee, it is not on offer at the coffee station or at the table. You have to go clear across the dining room to the cold cereal section of the buffet with your hot cup of coffee. And the food offerings just don’t compare favorably with what the competition is doing. But, front desk staff were helpful and welcoming, which cannot always be said about everyone in the Israeli hospitality industry.

Excellent location and service. The cleaning needs to be improved a bit. The breakfast is standard. I was there a few months ago and I didn't have a great experience. We received an additional night for free from the hotel. Tomer from the guest retention department was very helpful and kind, and the second time we were there was much more successful. 3 nachten verbleven op 2 verschillende kamers; kleine en een middelmatig kleine kamer. In zeer matige staat al duidelijk gestart tot verval. Schimmel, van alles kapot; koffie/thee set ergens onderin n kast weggestopt. 1 nachtkastje weggedaan in kledingkast. Zeer gehorig door een aansluitende tussen deur. Bij het ontbijtbuffet eerst nog wel n toast apparaat, en n koffiemachine werkzaam, bij het t****e bezoek allebei al kapot en geen alternatief. In het trappenhuis ( vluchtroute! tevens) was de weg voor meer dan de helft versperd door matrassen die verplaats werden. (Het ligt tegenover een in renovatie zijnd hotel; dat geeft ook veel troep voor de deur en wat geluidsoverlast natuurlijk) Stoelen in de lobby helemaal doorgezakt.
