We had a wonderful stay at the hotel is beautiful and brand new. The only problem we had is the restaurant that took very long time to get our food and I mean two hours long.

I don't usually post negative reviews, but my stay here was such a disaster that I need to alert others. This hotel managed to ruin what could have been a smooth and professional business trip, and I will never return. Let me start with the restaurant service — if you can even call it service. It was non-existent. The staff, young and seemingly inexperienced, were completely untrained in customer service. Every time we ordered, at least one item was unavailable, and they would run back and forth to the kitchen to let us know this. When we asked for a local beer, they served API but failed to let us know that this was the only available local beer. No one even asked if it would be okay to open that bottle. Who drinks API, for goodness' sake? I was looking forward to a regular local beer. And there was no food choice at breakfast. Breakfast was precisely the same every single day, and most items on the menu simply were not available. The service was very slow, and it became clear that the staff had no idea what they were doing. What was worse was the waitstaff's attitude when anything did go wrong. When something was late or missing, their response was essentially, "Not my fault." There was no accountability at all, and it was exhausting to have to put up with such a lack of professionalism. Now the nightmare started with billing. Our company had reserved rooms with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but when we arrived, nobody at the hotel knew anything about it. They told us that we could pay for the meals in advance, and either our company would reimburse us, or they would charge our company directly via invoice. We did the latter and provided them with all the company information required. But upon checking out on the day, they said they were not aware of any invoice and wanted us to pay immediately. When our colleague (organizer who reserved the trip) tried to explain, the hotel owner rudely stated he never heard of such a deal. He even had the audacity to label the papers we provided as fraudulent, simply because they did not have enough detail to please him. The situation blew up very quickly, with the owner shouting and being completely disrespectful. Instead of offering any kind of compromise or apology, he demanded that we pay up front, or they will not let us go. Finally, our friend, who was beyond fed up with this circus, paid with her own card, since time was of the essence. The parting shot from the owner of being "happy to never see us again" was the cherry on top of this awful experience. I've visited over 20 countries in my 10+ years of traveling and have never been spoken to with such unprofessionalism and disrespect by a hotel owner or staff. If you need a hotel with respectful staff, good service, and just plain respect, look elsewhere. I highly recommend avoiding this hotel — I know I will.
