The hotel is newly built, so the internal environment is very comfortable. The waiter cleans the room every day, and the front desk service is also very considerate. There is a supermarket within a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and there is a fast food restaurant opposite the hotel, which is very convenient. The most convenient point is that it is very close to the airport, a 12-minute drive. I personally feel very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel.

We stay at Hilton properties across the country. We have stayed in Scottsdale for years. This was our first time in Tempe. We were thrilled with our stay. This was a first time traveling with my hubby on Peritoneal Dialysis. The portable machine flew with us but all do.unions- there were boxes and boxes were delivered directly to the hotel. When we arrived, the hotel staff had all the boxes in our suite. We had terrific communication with Maria, Sami Erin before and during our stay. What terrific ambassadors they are. The breakfast was lovely. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Carm was just wonderful. We love pool time. The pool was clean. Just wished there was bar service at the pool. We have already booked our next stay there.

If you want to be degraded, discriminated and practically kicked out of your room for having a service animal, stay here..Holiday Inn, and the GH Keton(which of whom i have been trying to get a hold of him all week, with NO luck) should be ashamed how they let Wayne(the front office manager) speak and treat guests. Im sure I wasnt the first and wont be the last, as long as they keep allowing him. Checked in December 10th around 10:30pm, I told clerk that I had a service animal and he said ”OK No Problem”.. We decided to go get dinner before going into the room, came back around 11:15 and when I was walking into the hotel Wayne stops me with a pinch of attitude and a unmannerly tone and says ”Can I help you?Oh wait, is that a service animal?” I said ”Yes” then he proceeds to ask ”hold on right here, i need to check in my system if there is note of that” (after a lot of typing) he proceeds to tell me ”there is nothing in the system, but why is your dog a service animal?” I said ”I suffer from severe anxiety, I do have a his paperwork” he then bitingly asks me ”what does he do for you, that you so need a service animal?” I said, I provided paperwork to the clerk when checking in, I also called the hotel prior to completing the reservation asking them if they took Service animals, and they said Yes”. He said ”we legally cannot see any paperwork provided, and I have been trained to handle these type of situations but it comes out to, YOU can stay here but not the DOG, seems what you have is a PET not a Service Animal”(like if he knew or if he was a doctor). After Wayne proudly waived at me his very used and revised ADA papers over and over again, He said my Dog couldn't stay with me and he said he wouldn't allow me back in, I proceeded to tell him that I wasn't going to be paying for a room HE wasn't allowing me to stay in, he said I was still going to be responsible for the room I never even stepped a foot in. I am an IHG member, and this experience was nothing but discusting, humiliating and discriminating. Mind you it was 50° and it was 11:15PM, I had to find another hotel room! Other guests did try to intervine and told Wayne what he was doing was against the law, asking me all those specifics, he proudly once again flagged his revised ADA papers and argued with other guests as well. Wayne lacked empathy and it seems he lost his costumer service skill and has been allowed to treat others with disrespect..

The room was clean and decent for the price but I was disappointed that the breakfast was extra and the pool / hot tub doesn't appear to be open. I tried visiting the pool at 10 at night and at 7:50 in the morning. Also saw guests trying to use the pool after 8 in the morning without any luck. Perhaps the hours are such that it is unavailable a lot of the time which is annoying b/c that is one of the perks of the hotel and its enclosed so you'd think they'd keep that open. Also this particular location is not the best in that It's in a crappier area of town. Some shady characters walking around the outside. Was expecting better for the price but I have stayed at much worse hotels.

Update: Pretty sure I got a sinus infection from my room. (See review and photos) Not the worst Hotel I've ever stayed in, but the worst Hilton experience so far. The only redeeming feature of this hotel is it's proximity. 1. Proximity to the job site I worked out of 2. Proximity to the Airport 3. Proximity away from crime When I arrived, the atrium was nice and the pool area is actually really nice. When I opened the door to the room, the musty smell hit almost immediately. Thankfully because it's PHX, I was able to open the window and run the fan to get some fresh air into the room. Only after 3 afternoons of doing this same practice did it finally start smelling less musty by Wednesday night. I inspected the HVAC intake and noticed that the filters appeared to have an installed date. I think it says 1-26-2022 (or 1-24-2022) either way I'm no HVAC expert, but I believe even the best filters need to be changed more than that... only 1 out of the 4 toiletries had anything in it or the only one actually working. (see photos) Since I work all day, I didn't feel like making it a big thing at the front desk. Should I have? I guess I could have, but for Hilton Honors users, we have a handy app that lets you use your phone as a key among other features. one of them is to communicate with the hotel. I decided to try it out and sent a message on Tuesday. No response. On my last evening, I sent one other message. (see photos) I'm a fairly forgiving guy, but considering this is one of the only supposed ”4-star” hotels in the vicinity, I was hoping for a little more. They don't service the room but once every 5 days (unless you ask for it, but again; Why have a communication feature if you don't monitor it?) if I come back to Phoenix, This will NOT be my first choice. I'm going to say right now, I'll probably look in nearby Tempe or some other suburb and risk the 20-30min. commute than stay here again.
Motel 6 Mesa North is a short drive to Mesa Gateway Airport, Sky Harbor Airport, and Fiesta Mall. Golfland Sunsplash is next door. Major League Baseball Spring Training facilities nearby. All rooms include free Wi-Fi.

GGuest UserAll the rooms have now been renovated according to the cheerful front desk night attendant. We arrived very late from the airport, so were tired and got a good night’s sleep. Just a few remarks about the layout of the room. It’s great to have the sofa bed and a working/meal table plus a mini-fridge. However this leaves very little space to put your luggage and there is no dresser or closet, just a small pole at the far end of the room over a small luggage rack. I can just imagine the challenge for the couple who registered before us with 2 kids and 2 huge suitcases ! Also the bathroom entrance faces the bed and there is no door to shield the light from anybody sleeping in the bed at night. Another not so important little peeve of mine is you have to open the shower directly not through a lever when the water is warm enough, so you get a cold splash when you walk up in it to open the tap. The breakfast was decent enough, just like most hotels of this type, but everything was lukewarm, including the coffee, which was annoying. Finally, the breakfast room definitely had not been renovated and the furniture was a little worn or dirty. The elevators also made crinkly noises that made you wonder if you were going to get stuck. So all in all, it was still a good choice for a quick overnight stay after arriving at the airport (no shuttle after 10:00 p.m.) and the staff were very pleasant.
GGuest UserA basic choice as the name would imply however a solid one. It's clean, functional and everything the brand offers with plenty of parking. Conveniently situated next to main roads for most things Phoenix related. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly enough and they managed my deliveries of parcels very well indeed. Overall it's not a romantic gateway but a well managed practicle choice.
GGuest UserThis review is long overdue. Had to stay here on a mission to help a family member this past summer, definitely not a vacation stay and this hotel suited our needs very well, with one exception, I'll get to that in a bit. First thing: we got in late on a Sunday night and I was really hungry, The woman working the front desk on Sunday June 27th 2021 went above and beyond to try and find food for us, even offering to go into the closed hotel kitchen to scrounge something up. Then she called several places until she found one open and helped negotiate the whole transaction, being very patient with me and my exhausted brain failures. When she did secure a food delivery, told me to go on up to the room and she would deal with the delivery driver. I've gotten less help at a 5 star hotel, this person seemed to have genuine concern for us and I failed completely in that I didn't tip her (so tired I forgot, sorry!) and didn't even get her name to mention her here. I assumed I'd see her again. Hope she somehow sees this review, so grateful for the help. Beyond that the hotel had a fantastic lobby, good clean modern design all over with cooler colors in the rooms, comfortable beds, good room layout, clean, nice bathroom. Very reasonably priced. We only had one problem in a week long stay, one night some very loud people stayed in the next room, at least 4 or 5 people going in and out all night and talking super loud. Couldn't figure out if the walls were really thin or if the people were just louder than average humans, probably both, but leaning on the people being especially loud. Given the proximity to the university, this type of thing is to be expected really, and I don't actually blame the hotel, it's just something to be aware of. The front desk were helpful in the matter in that they were willing to tell us those people weren't booked for another night, but if we continued to have problems we could let them know, so hotel staff did what they could. All in all for the very good price I was satisfied with our stay, it was nearly perfect for our needs and that Sunday night desk person was an absolute life saver.
GGuest UserFriendly staff at check in. I actually thought bed was comfortable despite dingy sheets that made me feel a little dirty. They also allow dogs no extra fee. I had 2 50 pounders so that limits my hotel options. Friendly roach in our room. Room was rather grimy. There’s a penny on the floor in bathroom, if you stay in room 123, pretty sure it’ll still be there because it doesn’t look like it’s actually cleaned. In pic is the roach that was scurrying across the furniture…he didn’t live to scurry any further. Though I am curious how cleaning crew misses trash stuffed in peephole on door. Guess so paranoid individuals can feel safe. Also, how is light switch melted?! It was in desperation to get a hotel; it was an outrageous nightly rate ($164 w tax) for a roach motel. Spend the extra $$ is my suggestion for a cleaner place.
CcynthiasonyAdvantages: Very simple free breakfast, free laundry. Disadvantages: 1. After taking a shower in the middle of the night, I found that the hair dryer was broken, and the hotel did not have a spare hair dryer. Later, I coordinated to blow dry my hair in another room because the hair dryer was fixed to the wall and could not be moved. 2. The front desk was understaffed and often empty. The service of the girls at the front desk was very good, and the boys were average. The new Indian front desk spoke with a heavy accent, and I could not understand him at all and could not communicate.
GGuest UserNo food at this place you have to cook you4 own food or go out to eat it has nice kitchen with cook top stove comes with pots & pans a toster oven and coffee pot...Staff are nice and friendly people try to go out on a limb to help you with questions..
GGuest UserThe staff here is great. Great customer service! Very attentive to the customer needs. Rooms are clean and smells good. Overall good experience. Kiddos to Veronica, Chase, and Miranda for their amazing service. Thank you all!
