Casona 1530

I booked my stay on their website. I was hoping it would be memorable, since it was my first time staying in Mexico. I booked the Habitación Superior. Price for 2 Night(s) was $4,300.00. My significant other and I arrived and we were excited to see what was in store for us. Checking in was seamless. We were assigned Room# 4. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to with the WiFi Code that was provided to us. The speed was exceptional. The room wasn’t extravagant, but it was casual. The bed was comfortable and I slept great each night. The shower had Hair, Body, and Cond in dispensers, which was convenient. They all smelled good and provided me with a clean feeling after I used them. The water pressure throughout was good and every fixture drained nicely. The room was great. We woke up refreshed after our first night here and decided to try El Zaguán Restaurant. This was conveniently located just steps away from our room, so it was almost inevitable that we were going to try it. We were helped almost immediately after we arrived and we were able to choose our table. From the Bebidas section, I went with a Café americano for $25.00 and a Jugo de naranja for $45.00. From the De La Granja section, I ordered the Huevos a la mexicana for $75.00. It was revueltos con jitomate, cebolla y chile verde, acompañado de frijolitos fritos. The americano was smooth, but it tasted even better with Sugar. The Jugo de naranja was really good. The Huevos a la mexicana came out fairly fast. The whole ensemble was great. We were also given free bread and salsa. The bread was a bit crispy and the salsa was pretty spicy, but they were both decent. Our server was attentive and gave us everything we needed. The prices were friendly. I’m glad I tried El Zaguán. The service was professional and friendly throughout my stay. I didn’t have any issues in that field. Overall, I had a great stay here. I think the quality matched the price. I might stay here again in the future, especially with the location being convenient. Dates of stay: 09/01/2024-11/01/2024

Great location, , close to the plaza but very quiet and peaceful. Room was clean and well appointed, big shower , mini fridge ample towels, face clothes etc . Hot water hit and miss as expected. Great little restaurant in the courtyard. Friendly and helpful staff, would definitely say again if in the area
