The whole hotel smelled amazing. Nice clean, cold room. The room was very spacious, clean and the air was nice and cold. Great location and close to amenities.Had a big selection for breakfast which was yummy. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Great place to stay when visiting family. The staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Pool was GREAT. Kids really enjoyed themselves.

The room was nicely laid out. It was very clean. The people here were great. I felt like part of a family during my whole visit. They helped with finding places to eat. The genuinely asked how the trip was going and where I was from and such. I felt like an honored guest the whole time. It is on my list of places to stay again the next time I travel this way.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Palestine 3000 S Loop 256 Palestine, Texas This motel does not live up to the Wyndham standards. They mainly support the local petro chemical plant visiting workers. The breakfast did not include eggs, meats or yogurt. Overpriced

Very clean property, convenient location, had first floor which was great for us. Breakfast had a variety of items, internet was fast and allowed for us to finish up some work requirements before we left.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfy. The sofa bed, however, the mattress had obvious stains, was very worn, thin, and not at all comfortable for even one night's stay. I highly recommend that they upgrade the sleeper sofa to a more comfortable and clean mattress.

Breakfast below standard. Rooms are nothing to talk about. I believe the bedding was just remand and not changed. Rooms are plain and bare walled. No attention to making this place nicer. Ice machine on the first floor and a slow elevator. However, the front office staff was very nice and friendly.

Nice clean hotel in good area of town close to everything we needed .Lady at check in was nice . Breakfast was good .If staying recommend calling and checking to make sure pool is open for your stay .

We traveled to Palestine Texas with our 3 yo grandson to ride the Texas State Railroad. Since it was about a 3-hour drive for us, we decided to drive over on Friday and book our railroad tickets for Saturday. We booked a room at the LaQuinta Inn. The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and polite. The facility appeared to be relatively new, however was lacking in a few areas. Overall cleanliness was average. Beds were adequate. The individual room air/heat unit did not appear to be “dehumidifying” properly making the room have a “damp” feeling. Although the second floor had a sign indicating “vending” there were no drink or snack machines and no ice machine on the second floor. The morning free breakfast again was adequate and frankly what we have come to expect with regard to free breakfast. Probably will try another hotel if we return….
