Can for just one night with my cousin. As we entered, the guy at the desk spoke perfect English, and then immediately began to pretend that he couldn’t speak English at all. We had a transfer the next day, which we asked about. He said it would cost 600 baht and came to our room to take the money. I told him that we would wait till the morning, and he tried to insist. We felt very threatened. The next morning, we waited at the lobby for a taxi, which we checked online and booked a taxi meter company. He then told us they don’t exist, and he knew a taxi driver but it would cost us 1000 baht. His friend took us and drove five minutes down the road and left us stranded at the “bus” station. Not impressed!!!

Charming little beachfront hotel. We were the only guests on the night we stayed, so they gave us the only true-beachfront-facing bungalow. We didn't pay for breakfast in our rate but they invited us to breakfast anyway... VERY nice people made us feel welcome at every turn. Note that it's a ”Thai-style” resort, so don't expect the Marriott, but the value and the friendliness are unmatched. If you go, eat at the restaurant 1 km north of the hotel - some of the best Thai seafood we've ever had.

But I’d like us, you use this place a stop off for ONE* night for travelling to/from Surat Thani airport, then it’s great!! Level of English: not great Cleanliness: excellent Friendliness: exceptional This hostel picked us up for free from the airport. We enjoyed our night and meal in the restaurant next door. Then they dropped us off for our ferry the next day!! It was the pick up and drop off service that really made this place a top notch stop of hotel! One last note: one night is great- but no more!! It seriously is in the middle of nowhere!!
