I've stayed a Marula Cottage Guest Lodge a number of times. Why? Hosts deliver superb service and unrivaled hospitality. Food - complimentary breakfast and optional dinner - is delicious. Accommodation is spotless and includes all requisite contemporary amenities. Setting is tranquil. Wild life enthusiasts will appreciate 10 minute drive to one of South Africa's wonderful national parks.

Great getaway
Place is beautiful the couple who runs it will do anything for you.Excellent cook in tour guide. The road to their cottages is a little long but worth the effort.

Monika and Dave were warm and perfect hosts. All information about der lodge and the travel to it which were given in advance were very useful. We felt very comfortable. All our wishes were fulfilled. The lodge offers a marvellous view of the landscape. The food was prepared with skill and love. Jens & Heike

We loved our 2 night stay at Marula Cottage Guest Lodge. Our hosts Monika & Dave were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. Just a perfect place to stay if one is going to visit the Marakeli National Park or any other place. The fact that the rate includes a cooked breakfast ~ to your liking ~ is a real bonus.

Monika's und Dave's Lodge, war der perfekte Start in unsere Reise. Der Empfang war mehr als herzlich. Das Gelände ist wunderschön, die Hunde alle super freundlich und unser Abendessen ein Traum. Hätten gerne noch einen Game Drive mit Dave unternommen. Leider fehlte uns dazu die Zeit, da wir nur eine Nacht gebucht hatten. Wir kommen sicher nochmal vorbei. Liebe Grüße von uns allen
