Because it was New Year's Eve, this hotel also required a minimum of 3 nights. I booked an Opera House view room almost three months in advance in early October 2024. The note required a high floor with a good view. As a result, the room I was assigned was on the lowest floor of the room type and in the most remote corner, close to the block. After communicating with the front desk, they claimed that the room was fully booked that day, so I was moved to a room with a view facing the road leading to the Sydney Bridge. I don't know if this is considered a downgrade. Other aspects are good. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, they are well maintained. The bathroom is relatively large and the hygiene is also OK. But I found a lot of dust on the table in the room. We asked for the room to be cleaned every day.
