This property was under construction and don’t see any notifications of that when I booked! Despite that, the staff was amazing. The locations is great and so many eateries and entertainment to walk too!

The property is under construction so the restaurant is not open and there is no main lobby access. However, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This was our first time in the area and we booked this hotel on a whim. We were definitely pleasantly surprised! The room was spacious and clean. The staff was great. Hotel was under construction while we were there.

I have stayed here before but actually like Brownwood Hotel more. Found what I thought to be a deal at The Waterfront Inn for a last-minute Labor Day weekend trip. Was surprised to get a room with such short notice and the price was not terrible. Wanted the pool, hot tub and onsite restaurant. Nothing on their website informed the guests that the hotel and grounds are under a full renovation. The pool and hot tub were closed and empty - hideous to look at from our waterfront room. We immediately returned to the front desk to check out and were advised that our stay would not be refunded. What! I even spoke with a skinny very weird-looking man who said that he was the only Manager on property and he was the restaurant Manager. He made a phone call and returned stating that nothing could be done. Other people were not happy at the deception or the hotel itself. Staff members seem to not care one bit about customer service or making enemies. My family visits The Villages a lot but will never stay at this hotel again, even after the renovation is complete. They have shown how they don't value their guests and I would not enjoy a future stay after this experience.
