I this is the 25th year of visiting the Bell Hotel in Thetford. In all those years I have never had grounds to complain, not once. This is mainly due to the staff who are invariably friendly, helpful and very accommodating, nothing is to much trouble. From the manager, Victoria, the Duty Manager, Rachel ( who is particularly attentive, sorting problems with alacrity and ease) Linda, who always handles my booking with such aplomb, is another star of the Bell Hotel Staff! The Hotel is historic and highly interesting, in itself, with a myriad, of enchanting and individualistic rooms, I have had the pleasure of staying on many of them, always clean and perfectly presented. However, in his visit, there are two new Chefs, Lucas and Christian, who’s food I have sampled and the results are incomparable, in a word ‘Superb’. In conclusion the Hotel itself is rather good but having said that it is only as good as it’s ! The word I would use is ‘superlative’ let us hope that it will be as good in the next 25 years as it has been in the previous years. The Bell Hotel Thetford will not accept May be my second house me but the staff will always be a part of my extended family and “I am unanimous in that” !!!!!!!!
