We stayed at The Pema for our first 2 nights in Thimphu. And I must say it was the best hotel stay throughout our trip in Bhutan. Very nice welcome/greeting. Staff was very attentive and accommodating, even offered to open the Spa in the middle of the night when hot water delayed in our room. Very clean and nice views. The dinner from the Bistro and morning breakfast buffet were superb. Food taste and presentation are up to par to NYC restaurants’. The honey gift was clutch for my sore throat!

Love this hotel. We had a comfortable suite with a sitting area looking out over the valley. The best part of this hotel however is the staff. They are WONDERFUL. It was my husband’s birthday and they decorated the room and made him a card. It was so great. Food is also good. Definitely recommend.

Excellent hotel ! Good and friendly staff, reception and services. Excellent food. Very comfortable, well located, nice rooftop, gym and sauna, Coffee shop and restaurant. For sure recommended for a nice stay at Bhutan capital city and surroundings.

This hotel shines due to the efficiency and professionalism of its staff. The room, a suite, was warm and inviting with a kitchenette, lounge and separate bedroom. The food in the restaurants all offer from the same menu which is yummy and satisfying, not to mention the pastry chef who bakes fresh breads and desserts daily. Breakfast was included and deeply enjoyed. This boutique hotel is a real find.

We stayed there 2 nights and absolutely loved it! Great hospitality and service from all the staff. Everyone speaks English really well. The room was spacious and comfortable. We also got some local gifts! The breakfast was a la carte. Dinner has so many cuisines and options to choose from. All tasted amazing. Highly recommend for a fantastic stay in Thimphu!

The pema hotel is a fantastic establishment that truly cares for their guests. They were very responsive to our needs even helping to sort out my phone issues. Breakfast has a mixture of local and western which is perfect for the morning. Food in the rooftop was extremely good, especially the slow cooked pork. Rooms are nice and clean with good lighting. Would happily return.

Staying at the Pema was the perfect start to my Bhutan trip. I have no complaints, the bed was comfy, the property was pristine. the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was very good both breakfast and dinner. the handmade soaps were also a nice touch. Excellent property.

Highly recommend this hotel for their excellent service and hospitality. The hotel room is clean and they provide a nice breakfast. Staff are very friendly and approachable, really attentive when service is needed 👍👍👍. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at The Pema :)
