Hotel is very central and our room was furnished lovely. Could have done with bin in bathroom and bedside tissues. We had a lovely room overlooking the car park at the front but it was quiet . Plenty of good quality tea,coffee hot chocolate and biscuits in the room .

Amazing hotel in Thrisk, right in the centre. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was so lovely and I love all the sheep pictures and statues everywhere gives it character. We had a great nights sleep and the breakfast the next morning was amazing. We will definitely be booking again to return. Highly recommend staying here.

Paid a lot of money for a poor room very small bathroom only one person in at a time when on the toilet you can rest your chin on the sink, The wardrobe had a door missing and the rest of the room was very small and tired.

The Golden Fleece is a great hotel, right in the heart of Thirsk. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was lovely too. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at The Golden Fleece. Hotel is lovely, we had a 4 poster bed, loved the little step to get into it! All the staff were friendly and chatty, and Angus (spaniel) enjoyed the fuss and attention. Food was great. Would recommend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Thirsk - so good to see a thriving town. We will definitely rebook. Thankyou all.

On arrival the welcome was friendly and polite and professional. All the staff were friendly and polite. Lovely spacious room with a bottle of Prosecco on arrival, food was very good and breakfast was of the same quality no complaints 👍

Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Although only a one night stay location was excellent and would happily return for a longer stay .

We found this hotel excellent the room we had was spacious the bed was wonderful and we slept very well.It did lack a safe in the bedroom and that is something many people like to use.
