Serene Sky Guest House

We felt very comfortable at the Serene Sky Guesthouse. Ali is a very nice and helpful host. Although the accommodation is only a few minutes from the harbor, we were picked up by a buggy. Ali also gave us the buggy driver's cell phone number so that we could contact him at any time if we wanted to be driven to the big bikini beach or to one or two restaurants. After rainy nights, it is not so easy to get through the streets with a stroller. 😊 We would come back anytime

We did not expect such luxurious service on Thoddoo Island. Several people work in this guest house, one of them is administrator Ali. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, there is air conditioning everywhere, breakfast is included in the price, the breakfast is not extensive, but it is enough until lunch. The room is always cleaned in such a way that your things are not touched, but interesting figures are always made from towels. Upon arrival, we were given a free dinner for two as a compliment, a basket of fruit was waiting for us in the room, this was already quite interesting and pleasant. Ali speaks English well, so we learned a lot from him, he became our guide to the world of the Maldives. At the time of our arrival, the hotel had difficulties with bicycles; on the island, without them, it would take quite a long time to walk from the beach to the room. I asked Ali to get us 2 rental bicycles and he got them that same evening! In the end, he didn’t charge for them, which again was very surprising. He also provided my wife and I with masks and fins for snorkeling, without taking any money for it, and when we said that we didn’t find anything interesting, he organized a snorkeling trip for a group of 5 people, including the two of us) boat accompanied by a snorkeling master and looked at sharks, stingrays, octopuses! This was also meant as a compliment. In general, this guesthouse is of a very good level, this is the first guesthouse on Toddu. Everywhere is clean, the staff is friendly, and upon request they can prepare you fresh juice or buy fruit, not just store-bought, but high-quality fruit. We really wanted to try seafood cuisine and were surprised that seafood cuisine was unpopular in restaurants on the island, so we asked Ali to organize us a dinner with sea creatures and he organized it! It was super, he agreed to make us dinner on the roof of the house, by candlelight, with music, in general, any of your whims and desires can be realized on this island if you check into this guest house. Regarding the Internet, it’s free here and throughout the ENTIRE territory of the guest house, not only at the reception, but also in the rooms, I called via skydiving with a video and everything was great. There are 2 showers in the rooms: regular and tropical in the open air. We looked at other guesthouses, visited many, and I can tell you with confidence that this guesthouse in terms of price/quality ratio is the best on the island, and its staff will do everything possible to make your vacation unforgettable!
