Rose Garden Inn & Suites Thomasville

I'm a travel nurse looking for a safe place to stay while on my assignment. I'm single, so safety is very important to me. This motel meets all the requirements for me. It's clean, and it's safe. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to travelers.

Customer Service at this hotel is terrible! My sister booked this hotel reluctantly, because the bigger hotels were sold out. After checking in I decided to look at the room to see if the upgrades that was described were going to look like since I had booked for the following three days. As soon as we walked into the room the telephone began to ring, it was the clerk from the front desk demanding to know why I was in the room. She rude told my sister she couldn't have visitors and that I had to leave the room immediately! We were both shocked! When my sister told her that I wouldn't be staying, the clerk said I told you the rules, now she must leave the premises immediately. (She said visitors were frowned upon when she checked in.). When my sister told her that she wouldn't be staying in this hotel ever again, she replied, "oh well." So, wow! Never have I seen or heard such nasty behavior. Thomasville could benefit from nicer hotels or at least hotels that care about the customers. Needless to say we will never give the little guys our money again. Bad customer service can destroy repeat customers. Stay away from this place unless you want to be treated like trash.

Great motel (doors on the outside) and great location. On a Harley trip with a buddy and called about three hours away. Kim answered the phone and was so kind and helpful. She said there was plenty of vacancy and she would hold a room for us. Place looked great, well maintained. Check in was easy, she split the bill. Provided “bike towels” and gave us info and a map for food Convenience store right next door and plenty of food options. Room was clean, AC was ice cold, good lighting had fridge and coffee maker in room. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

Ick! Smelly, dingy, old. Noisy AC had to be set to 66° to begin to lessen the dampness. In desperate need of a do-over and a lot of TLC. Bathroom was dirty ... hair in tub drain and dirt on floor. Didnt sleep even with my own pillow and blanket. Only stayed because all area hotels were booked solid due to Tallahassee graduations. The 1 star rating is for the very pleasant front desk woman.
