Tianjin Hotels with Bars

An exceptional stay, one of the best in China in recent memory. Very impressed with the politeness of staff, such as greetings from waiters during breakfast. Hotel is a cutural gem and had no idea it has such a rich history. Quirky and fun, highly recommended. Breakfast was excellent.

In the past two days, I went to Tianjin for a trip and chose The Westin Tianjin Hotel. The experience was very good. The senior members within the group are also well taken care of at Westin. Especially the lobby manager, Angel, who was very patient with the elderly, left a deep impression. I hope to have the chance to visit Westin again.

The hotel is beautiful and the service is amazing. We didn’t like out room when we arrived and the staff did not hesitate to change our room. It was a great stay.

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

The room is very nice and clean. The facilities are well maintained. It is considered a very good Ritz-Carlton in China. The service is a little lacking. I have stayed in Ritz-Carlton in Japan and Guangzhou. The service is very considerate. There is no reception after arriving at the hotel. You have to carry your luggage by yourself. The next day, I wanted to have afternoon tea in the hotel lobby, but there was no priority seat reserved for guests staying in the hotel. The attitude of the short-haired service girl in the lobby lounge was also very bad. It was a hot day in Tianjin at noon, and she asked me if there was a seat outside? Why didn't you sit outside? ? The good mood of the check-in was completely ruined by this waiter.

It was quite simply faultless. Booked to stay at the St. Regis, Tianjin, and I had to cancel as it was quite simply an antiquated hotel that was unlike anything I've experienced with this brand before. The fourseasons saved the day and made my stay in Tianjin a thoroughly happy one.

My son and I stayed for 1 night and was extremely pleased with the hotel. We had a beautiful view and the room was comfortable and relaxing after a long day of play. The location was fantastic as it was less than 10min walk from the TianJin Eye. Fast food was accessible as KFC and an 7/11 was right around the corner. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit TianJin and highly recommend this hotel to travelers of all types.

On June 3, I drove from Beijing to Tianjin Stadium to watch Zhou Chuanxiong's concert, so I booked this hotel not far from the stadium! The first time I stayed at the Conrad Hotel, I had high expectations, but the result was not satisfactory! The following are slots 1. Is the economic situation good now? There was a long queue at check-in, and the lady at the front desk upgraded the suite for free, which is great! The most exaggerated thing is that there is a queue for the breakfast buffet the next day. This is the first time I have encountered it! 2. The sign of the hotel's underground parking lot is extremely unclear and confusing, especially the exit sign. The parking lot is useless! 3. After watching the concert, I wanted to go back to the room to take a bath, but the piston of the bathtub was broken, and there was no way to repair it in the middle of the night, so I had to give up! There are only a few tissues in the tissue box in the bedroom and they are gone! 4. After checking out in the afternoon, I ordered pasta and pear juice in the lobby. I really waited for the flowers to wither, and it took almost 40 minutes to serve the meal. This time, the whole banquet was prepared! The waiter told me that the back kitchen didn't see the order at first! I'm drunk too! The checkout plus service fee will cost more than two hundred! I won't comment on the taste! Fortunately, it cost a little 150 to get a discount for the gold card. The key is that the experience is not good! 5. The room is really big, and the equipment and facilities are okay. I'm on the second floor and the scenery is fine! You can see Tianjin TV Tower just by going out! I really don't recommend it, this price should be set at a hotel beside the Haihe River where you can see the river view and night view, it is more worth it! sorry 🥹

On the whole, it is at the quasi-five-star level, and it still needs to work hard to reach the real five-star level. But considering the not-so-expensive price, compared with high-end five-star hotels such as Four Seasons, St. Regis or Ritz, it has a better price-performance ratio. The view from the room is very good, you can look across Tianjin, and the height is enough. Hygiene: The overall is clean and tidy, but when I first entered the room, there was a hair on the bed. It's not that serious, but it's worth it. Facilities: The room area is large enough, and the wet and dry separation is done well. The facilities in the room are about 70% new, and the wooden decoration is slightly peeled off. When we checked in, the drain of the bathtub was damaged and could not be closed and needed major repairs. At that time, I wanted to take a bath again, but the waiter finally solved it with a bathtub cover. The toiletries are self-operated, non-branded, and the fragrance of the shower gel is not very good, and it will be a bit dry after washing. Environment: The external environment is close to the business district, with many shopping malls, a wide range of takeaways, authentic Tianjin snacks and KFC. Takeaway is convenient. In terms of the environment in the hotel, there is almost no executive lounge. When we checked in, it was after noon, because the room was not ready, we proposed to go to the lounge or the executive lounge to rest, but there might be a wedding banquet in the hotel at that time, the lounge was full of chattering people, and there was no executive lounge. In the end, I only took two bottles of Nongfu Spring and was forced to go out and wait for the room to be ready. It may be located in a commercial building, and its lower floors are rented out for hotpot dining, as well as a swimming pool and spa open to the public. Residential guests and outsiders are not well distinguished, and the elevators are mixed. If a high-level guest swipes the room card and presses the floor, other people can press the floor of other rooms at will, which poses a certain security risk. Service: There is no problem with the service attitude of the waiter. Speak politely and politely. We asked the customer service to give suggestions for Tianjin snacks on WeChat, and there were still positive responses. However, we need to strengthen the consideration of customers. For example, if the room is not good, we can actively arrange for guests to sit and rest in the coffee shop. After all, we just got off the train and are hungry. The room facilities should be checked frequently. Don’t wait until the customer is ready to wash and go to bed at night, and the bathtub is broken. In the end, the problem was solved, but the means to appease the guests must be prepared. Like other five-star hotels, when encountering room problems and causing inconvenience to guests, they will propose to change rooms or use methods such as giving small desserts. Clearly this hotel needs more work. If you want to write the welcome card by hand, please be careful 😂, it is obvious that the name is only painted out, and one card can be used multiple times. Such a welcome card can only have the opposite effect 😂, it is not as good as a printed one or not sent. It’s better to use fresher fruit for welcome fruit, so that customers can help you promote it, right?

I would like to mention the receptionist 王亚南 who help us ordered some food during our 1 night stay as we arrived quite late at around 10pm. We do not have the ** app as we are not local. If not for her, we will go hungry the whole night. Thank you very much. 👍👍👍
