Facilities: The facilities in the room are basically complete, but the screen projection function has Android equipment. The equipment seems to be unable to connect. The robot delivers food because there is a staircase in the middle of the floor. It is not sent to the door. It can go out to the elevator to pick it up, but the overall experience is still good.
Location: The hotel is not very far from Tianjin Olympic Stadium. If you walk slowly, you will walk for about 20 minutes.
Check-in experience: The front desk lady upgraded the room type for free, super nice, and the experience was very good.

I chose to stay here when I came to Tianjin to watch Zhang Huimei's concert in early June. The experience was good, so this time I came to Tianjin alone to watch Miriam Yang's concert and chose to stay here again. It's about a kilometer or two away from the venue, and it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to walk. I always choose to ride there and walk back after watching the show in the evening. The sanitation and other things are good. The room is not big, but it is enough to live in. The lighting in front of the sink is good, better than many hotels, and you can basically see clearly when putting on makeup. The rain was strong and I was very tired after watching the concert. When I came back, I took a shower with plenty of water and enough heat. It was so comfortable. The breakfast was also very good. I will choose this place again when I go to Tianjin to watch a concert in the future. (But there were stains on the sleeves of one yukata)

The location has a ton of low level restaurant, but not a single place I'd risk food poisoning. If you take a 10rmb ride north, you'll find yourself close to a prominent area with a vast shopping mall, a lake, carnival rides, and foreign amenities. The hotel itself was reasonably clean for the price, although the chain lock was broken, and the AC was faulty. The staff keeps the sheets and other necessities really clean. If you're on a budget - definitely yes; if you're picky and have more money to spend - look elsewhere.

I was very satisfied with the hygiene of the house facilities, which are intelligent. The service was very good. There were waiters to greet us and help with the luggage. Wahaha mineral water was available in the lobby and on each floor. When I left, I had too many small things and was about to ask for a bag, but I found that the hotel drawers were equipped with walking bags. These spare items were very considerate and attentive!

The air conditioner is powerful. Although it is on a high floor, the water pressure is sufficient and the shower water is large and hot. However, there is no anti-slip mat or floor towel in the bathroom, so it will be a bit slippery after taking a shower. The room size is OK, the bedding is comfortable and soft. I have to complain about the curtains, which are relatively thin and cannot block light. There is light leakage on both sides. I thought I slept until noon, but it was only six in the morning. . .

In my view, Ritz Tianjin is the branch with the highest service level. ( i visited Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing financial street and Beijing Huamao centre so far)
1. 3 days before arrival - The branch called me to confirm the number of visitors (couple + 7 month old); and the purpose of visit (wedding anniversary)
2. Upon arrival - We were greeted by friendly staffs whom helped us with our 3 luggages and they did it with a smile
3 Miss Freya Luo lead us to the check in and was explaining the restaurants and facilities of the branch
4. During stay, our garbage and room was cleaned up no less than 2 times a day (we only stayed 2 days)
5. Miss Freya, also helped us to arrange parcels (mainly infant diapers and napkins) to be sent to the hotel
6. The exterior of the hotel resembles a castle and its truly special
The hotel is merely a room; the service provided by each of the staffs here makes this experience truly memorable

The subway station is just in front of the hotel. Shops, restaurants, and malls are surrounding this beautiful hotel.
The GM told me it was a 4 star hotel but to me it is nothing less than a 5 star accommodation.

Location is excellent, right next to the Tianjin Station and nearby tourist attractions. Hotel rooms begin from 47 and above. Breakfast, gym and laundry locate on the top floor, 51st floor. Free parking at basement 3.
Rooms come with a great river view overlooking the city. Rooms look relatively clean and contemporary, bedsheets and towels are all clean and changed daily.
Cons:
The hotel allows guests to smoke in the hallway and in bedrooms. Cigarette smoke kept coming in through the door and possibly the ventilation when someone was smoking regularly in the hallway. Especially the lift waiting area was horribly strong, clothes and hair were all covered in cigarette smoke.
Small hotel, guest rooms are between 47/50, the lifts have to go from the check in lobby at first floor all the way up til 51, therefore extremely slow lifts, especially during this time of the year, Chinese new year holidays where the hotel is packed, late check-in due to the cleaners were too busy to get all the rooms cleaned up for guests to check in and get the room cards on time, breakfast buffet ran out of dining space at peak hours, guests had to queue outside the hallway.
All communal areas are small, e.g the waiting areas and the toilets at the lobby. Very tiny gym, could fit maximum 5-6 people at the same time.
Recommend to book this hotel during the off peak seasons, not a hotel for big families.

GGuest UserThis time I was really surprised. I was attracted by the big screen at the door. This hotel is on the Italian style street. The location is invincible. I can see that I have been careful. The room is very clean and I changed the room experience halfway. My suggestion is to come with the buddies. It must be a bunk bed, it feels too much, The big bed is suitable for small couples, and the sound insulation is also first-class. The front desk service was great, and there were robots to deliver meals. I asked about a set of equipment for tens of thousands. I came to a set of pancakes and fruits in the morning. It was perfect. The only thing that was not enough was that the traffic was large. The parking had to be arranged by the uncle at the door, but the uncle was very enthusiastic. The room was set in advance as much as possible. Very satisfied this time 👍

This, as another branded hotel, disappointed us greatly, due to basic facilities not being available (we checked out).
Upon arrival at the Somerset Olympic Tower, we were warmly received, by the front of house.

Our suite was exceptionally well equipped.
A well layed out kitchen, with major (Fridge, Washing Machine) and minor appliances (Microwave) as well as cutlery and crockery.

The dining room had a table and chair set, suitable for family or friends.
We enjoyed the lounge area as well, the sofa was comfortable and the area is well organised.
There is an office area as well, should you require the use of a desk.
The bedroom has a on suite bathroom, equiped with a bathtub / shower combination.
We found the bed to be comfortable, with quality bedding on it.
The suite has numerous windows, with clear city views.
Breakfast (buffet) was excellent, with a great selection (Western and Chinese Style).
The facilities are on international standard.
Guests can enjoy a fully equiped professional gymnasium, and a heated swimming pool during their stay.
Overall we were extremly satisfied with the service received, the facilities and the meals.
We look forward to visiting the ”Somerset Olympic Tower” often, and in the near future.
