Hotel West Plaza

The deluxe double room had no window! The bathroom towels were old and there was no bath mat, so I had to be very careful not to slip. From the lobby to the hallways, to the rooms, and even the elevators, everything was tiled, with not a single carpet or mat. Shoes coming in from outside inevitably left obvious footprints on the white tiled floor in the room. If you didn't bring your own slippers, imagine stepping barefoot on a floor full of footprints after showering. I just used a corner of the bath towel under my feet after showering, and it picked up some footprints from the floor. The next day at checkout, I was actually asked to pay for damaging the towel! Seriously? Doesn't the hotel room rate include towel cleaning? Next time, maybe I should just wash your sheets and mop the floor before I leave?! The front desk staff had a terrible attitude! Avoid this place!

The room was nice and spacious, but cleaning was slow. There was no hot water. The soundproofing was terrible! I kept thinking someone was knocking on the door when it was actually the neighbor's. In short, I could hear every step in the hallway!

The location is very convenient, about 3 kilometers from the US border, and it is very convenient to take a taxi. It is within 1 km from the bar street and 400 to 500 meters from Revolution Avenue, which can be walked. The room is really big and the hygiene is OK. When I first entered the room, I felt that the smell was a bit strong but it was acceptable. After a while, I may get used to it. Please note that the hotel does not have luggage storage service. When I was about to check out, I asked the front desk and found out that I could not store my luggage. They said there was no place. I asked if there was any other place to store my luggage, but they didn’t know. Later, I had to pay 20 US dollars to delay the check-out until 3 pm.
