Hotel Lucerna Tijuana

perfect service, 24 hour room service with the biggest menu that I have ever seen. Awesome property layout. Great english speaking staff. Reminded me of a small Hawaiian Hilton Resort located in Tijuana. 3 Amazing restaurants with super attentive wait staff and cooks. Great daily brunch. Wonderful rooms with balconies.

My experience was good. My flight was timely and hassle free. When I reached my destination hotels were as seen or expected.

This was my first time in Tijuana in 60 years, I was traveling solo for some medical work. And I was a little nervous but the minute I stepped into the hotel I knew it was going to be a good experience. I was greeted warmly by the bellmen and front desk. Mind you it was 7:30 in the am and they allowed me to check into my room. The room was quite large with a beautiful view of downtown. They had all the amenities you would expect at a five star hold. During my stay I ate at all if the three restaurants and the food and device was always excellent. I could not tell online that they had a Mexican, Italian, sushi and ramen, and a breakfast buffet as well as two bars. They also had a great spa and beauty salon. The location was the best with everything including many restaurants close by. I had A upsetting personal problem there and was starting to cry getting into the elevator, the general manager happened to be walking by and caught my eye. Turned around and came over and asked me if I was ok. That to me is true hospitality. Two beautiful pools. If I went back I diffantly would up grade to the towers. They are a new addition and are stunning

I put my credit card to reserve room and they were supposed to refund after we checked out and they never gave me my money back. On top of that I made them switch my room because an awful smell was coming out of it. Never staying here again.

I would never stay here again. Before booking, I specifically called the hotel because I travel with my emotional support dog. I was told the hotel was pet friendly. At no point during that call—or when I checked in—did anyone ask for my ESA documentation, vaccination records, or explain any pet policy whatsoever. We also called about 30 minutes before arriving to ask if our room might be ready early. We were told yes. When we arrived, however, a short-haired female, acted as manager (or supervisor) immediately said the room wouldn’t be available until 3:00 p.m. There was no apology or effort to help, just an unnecessarily rude and dismissive attitude. The most frustrating part happened at checkout. The same employee had seen my dog during our entire stay and never mentioned a single issue. Then, as we were leaving, she suddenly decided to tell me the hotel isn’t pet friendly and began lecturing me about what I would need “next time.” The irony is that I actually had all of the proper documentation with me. If anyone had asked at check-in, I would have gladly provided it. Instead, she waited until we were walking out the door to bring it up, making the whole conversation completely pointless. She kept talking about “next time,” I finally told her there won’t be a next time because I won’t be staying here again. That was the only way to stop her lecturing! Being given inaccurate information is one thing. Being treated in a condescending, patronizing manner is another. No guest deserves to be spoken to like they’re a child. Good customer service starts with clear communication and respect, and unfortunately, this hotel failed at both. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend Hotel Lucerna to anyone traveling. There are many other wonderful options here.

I really loved this place. I have been wanting to check it out for a while and was a little hesitant based on reviews, but I am so glad I tried it. Will definitely be back. There were a couple of small challenges, mainly with my card not working at check-in, even though it was working. Small issue, though. Everything else was great. Loved my room, super clean and quiet. Nice balcony. The pool is nice and was clean. I just worked from there. The staff everywhere are great. I also love the location. And free parking!

From the moment you get to the hotel, you see and appreciate how beautiful and clean it is. Once you walk in your greeted and helped in a fast and very friendly matter the hotel is very beautiful modern very clean smells very clean. I would have to see the bar has amazing tamarindo margaritas we stayed on the fifth floor and they have a lounge section where you can hang out or eat. They offer happy hour. They have a good selection for breakfast including eggs, beans, bacon, potatoes, fruit yogurt, big variety, fresh orange juice, fresh green juice, coffee, honestly very good service. I am beyond impressed if you are thinking of staying here and don’t hesitate in a very nice area you feel safe and it’s also very close to the border.
