Bad experience. Agree with others that the pictures must be from when the place was new and first opened. While the bedding was clean the room was dirty and the bathroom worse. Explains why one half of the building is under remodel. Worse is the situation overall. The remodeling is not being done safely in terms of guest safety and there were debris in the entry, foyer area and the elevator. Wish I had read reviews but lucking was only a one night stay and basically just needed a place to sleep.

The owner should be ashamed of themselves! This place is ABSOLUTELY FILTHY! The overhang had no ceiling from water damage and is about to collapse. They advertise a pool but it looks like it hasn’t been open in a year. No water, mildew on the windows, cracks and falling apart. We didn’t make it past the lobby and it was already a definite no. The smell was dry and stale like mold spores. Front desk employee didn’t have uniform or business shirt. I can’t imagine what the room even looked like if the front was that filthy. We got a full refund and went to the double tree next door.

We left a blow dryer in the room and only realized once we got home multiple states away. The manager boxed it up and sent it to us within a few days. Great service! Not much of a breakfast but good spot for travelers on a budget.

Read the reviews and believe them! The one star was for the desk clerk. She tried her best but was overwhelmed with complaints. Here are mine (in order of occurrance: no AC on third floor hallway, no signage to direct you to the outside access rooms, sticking doors that had to be kicked to open, room keys didn't work, back down I go for replacements. Room keys are tricky and worked after 3-4 tries, room is dark, musty, and NOT cool! Water stains on all ceilings, cracks on ceilings, peeling wall paper through out, holes in walls. Bathroom UGH! Burnt out bulbs, broken fixture in tub, tub had brown ring around it with debris in the bottom, two towels for 6 guest room. No remote for second TV, both phones not working (hence multiple trips downstairs to complain). Pool looks like it hasn't been cleaned or used since March 2020. Oh yeah, dirt marks on sheets. Included breakfast? Chocolate waffles (you make yourself), no coffee/tea, corn flakes with a jug of milk that was sitting on the counter, apple juice - that's it! The look of bewilderment was on everyone's faces. Worst place I have ever stayed! Run, don't just walk away from this sad excuse for a place to stay by the Jersey shore. I'd sleep in my car before staying there again!

This was the worse place I've stayed. Mildew around faucet and tub. Exposed outlets and wires. Wall paper is actually stapled to keep up. Debris and filth around windows. One chair in four person room that is broken. Door falling off cabinet, refrigerator tottering on shelf. Shall I go on? Front desk staff said I should have known to ask for a clean room, to ask for housekeeping with the details specific to what I want clean and to not expect any extra towels more than they provied. Two nights, one set of towels, one 2inch piece of soap, half a box of tissues. Could not change room because she said none are available. Could not cancel unless I wanted to loose my money. She said I really needed to be more understanding since she was getting angry people in her face all day; as if this was my problem. Though I did nor rant and rave, argue nor act disrespectful, she refused to admit any incompetence of the housekeeping staff. She herself came to our room while we out to give us the next days towels we had to request and she took the 5dollar tip we had left for housekeeping, which we were told does not come to the room except when requested. Since when is the front staff housekeeping? What hotel, except for this one , will give a cleaned room only to guests who ask for one? This hotel should be checked by the health department and at the least by its corporation. By the way, she looked at the pictures and said "perhaps it is true, I do not know, and perhaps you are wrong about the mildew, that it is probably something left behind from maintenence when they fix things" Wow!! I am posting wherever I can!! Stay away from Tinton Falls Quality (NOT) Suites.
