Hacienda Chichen Resort and Yaxkin Spa

We stayed one night. Difficult for those with mobility issues but all the staff was super accommodating and helped us including offering room service. Beds were comfortable. I saw someone complaining that there was plastic coding around the mattress, but since they are foam, I guess I’d rather have that then know that people were sweating just below a sheet. There’s always a trade. I thought it was a little ridiculous that they wanted to find you $50 if you were caught outside food or beverages. But when I think about it, think the real concern is that people would have big, huge parties and barbecues, and be disturbing to other guests, make a lot of trash, and also the fact that this place is not cheap to run. Rooms are rustic, but pleasant. There is no TV, but the Internet worked fine, and the air conditioning we had in our Hacienda room was very pleasant. There’s a lack of outlets. But that’s a complaint I often have. Proximity to the ruins is great. Hotel arranged our taxi. It’s not possible to get directly to the ruins from the hotel. The shower was great. Bathroom was large. Shampoo, conditioner and soap were provided along with washcloths, hand towels and bath towels. Grounds were beautiful. The price is on the high side for the area but it’s also an original hacienda. Definitely not cheap to maintain. Dinner was fine. I had a simple club sandwich with fries and it was good. Served hot from room service. Flan was fine.

The breakfast is good, there is a parking lot, and the location of the hotel is great, opposite to the Tiankeng, just across the road. . When you come to the Pyramid, you must prepare an anti-mosquito spray! !!

The price is cheap, the location is good, and the scenic area is within walking distance. The room rate does not include meals, but they can be purchased separately. Two meals are about RMB 100. The swimming pool is also good. The downside is that the room is small.

Hotel location: Not far from the Pyramid and Tiankeng, very convenient. Hotel environment: The environment is pretty good, the rooms are average. Hotel price: It is cheap and cost-effective. Room defect: The room I live in has a back door, which can't be locked, so I use a stool to stand it up at night. Behind this door is a corridor, and there is a large window, you will see and hear service staff passing by from time to time. The bedding is not a quilt but a bed blanket.

I got what I wished for!!! Love that the hotel was closed to Chichen and fortunately for me, not too many people were in the hotel that day. I got there late, but I was helped by the manager to get into my room, jungle style resort. LOVE IT. It was pitch dark and I can only hear nature, night and day, birds singing, something that I have never experienced before. I was disconnected from the outside world. Loved the Room, loved the restaurant, loved the whole thing. I am referring friends and family in case they are going that direction. My only bad experience was that I lost my white/black diamonds ring. I must have dropped it on my way to my car, and because my room was at the end of the resort, I had to walk for about through the whole premises in the jungle, and I never found it :( Other than that, Facilities, Staff, Room and Hotel was great!!!! Loved the Mirador.
Mayaland Hotel & Bungalows

1. Arrived at night, no street lights were quite dark, and for the first time I missed the entrance to the hotel. 2. The hotel room is very large, and the facilities are old but not bad. I thought there would be mosquitoes in October, but there were none. 3. You can see the pyramid from the hotel, and it is also very close to the net celebrity ikkil tiankeng, which is very convenient. It is super hot to enter the pyramid.
