GGuest UserThis property is located very close to the Srirangam Ranganatha Swamy Temple's main gopuram, so it's just walkable distance to the temple. We booked an Executive Suite which has a spacious room with a master bed, two single beds, desk and sofa chairs which was comfortable for a family. Kettle and toiletries were provided. Bathroom was neat with hot/normal water supply. What would have been a welcome addition are Tissues boxes and dairy supplies. The Hotel is well maintained, staff's were courteous. The Hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor (Annalakshmi Veg Restaurant) which serves good vegetarian food for guests and public. The food at the restaurant (including complimentary breakfast) is good. It was mostly full as that was the only good veg restaurant in the vicinity. The Restaurant staff were courteous and well mannered even when serving at peak time. The hotel also has car parking space for those who drive down (I did). Overall a good experience and glad to recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to visit Srirangam.

BBOON KENGaffordable price and clean place , friendly boss . check in anytime , walking distance to food stall , and airport is quiet far for walking , but there's alot of Tuk Tuk bike , they called it AUTO , can wave to them to ask for their service any time , can fit 2 person or 1 adult + 2 kids , price are ok .
SR resident boss know few of them , you can ask him to book for you .
travel to city's temple only cost about 400 rubees

We walked in for lunch, never thali was fantastic. Quiet delicious and tasty. All the staffs were very polite and kind. The spread was very decent and had unique taste. --------------------------------------------------------------

First of all, the name is correct. I had a great view of the Rock Fort from my room, and I was only on the 1st floor! The rooms are clean and spacious and quite comfortable. There is even a fridge with a minibar (although I did not use it). Not that generous in terms of complimentary items, but adequate. There is a restaurant on the ground floor (this is where breakfast is served) and another on the roof top. Menus are extensive but optimistic! Nice view, but bring a torch if you want to read the menu. The front desk staff are helpful in making arrangements but (at least with one of them) do be alert that you get the right change.

GGuest UserThis is basically an Indian hotel, so if you are a foreigner visiting Trichy, which few do, and if you are, and prefer the local scene rather than the high-end, you will know what to expect, and to be honest, the rooms are not too bad. They are clean and bathrooms adequate. That picture in the front for this hotel is nothing like what I saw, but all the other room pictures are representative. Don't expect too much from the staff, but they service the basic requirements, so we had no complaints. The in-house restaurant has changed. It used to be in the main building, and served up a good variety of meals. Now it is adjacent, and the quality of meals has reduced. Never mind, just across the road is a very fine restaurant (Kerala Mess), though it doesn't open until 10am - if you are wanting an omelet, you'll have to wait. For breakfast, I can recommend the local's joint just next to GVN hospital - great chai, coffee and vadi. The main point one should know before booking this place (aside from the difficulty of booking online from outside India - use Make My Trip), is that it is situated in the middle of a bazaar - esp crap-clothing bazaar. Meaning that the crowds intensify in the afternoon and evening. So long as you are comfortable navigating through Indian crowds, then it's a lot of fun - otherwise it can be a nightmare. We last came here ten years ago, and the traffic has increased ten-fold since then. It has frankly, reached it's limits. Not sure what these market areas in India are going to do as the traffic and people ramp up in future.
