Thank you Team Oak Ray Wild Yala. We (Me and My Family) spent a holiday at 14th April 2024 and there was a New Year function with enjoyable awurudu kreeda. ”Ra Kade ” was my favourite event among all. There was a traditional Sri Lankan Breakfast buffet with Sri Lankan Foods. Lunch and Dinner were excellent. Staff is high attentive and especially General Manager Mr. Gerad. Cleanliness, Pool and everything was perfect. Thank you Oak Ray Wild Yala! Wish to come back soon. Highly recommended.

Stayed here with partner and my best friend for two nights while we explored Yala National Park. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was amazing, it had great scenic views from the rooftop and it was very reasonably priced. There are hopper stalls and other restaurants walking distance as well, if wish to try other local cuisines. I highly recommend The Rain Tree Hotel if you’re visiting Yala National Park or the surrounding area!

Hotel service is good, breakfast is good, ordering is not bad, live on the second floor with balcony, swimming pool in front of the building, very quiet, the birds in the night are very loud, go to Safari alone, you will be a chartered car, inform the hotel in advance to pack breakfast The cost of renting a car to other places is relatively high. Originally it was just a temporary hotel booked for the Yala Wildlife Park, but it gave us a surprise. The hotel is not very big, typical Sri Lankan style. Our room is upstairs, and the pool and courtyard are downstairs. The toilet is very large. It is relatively clean because we have lived in Sri Lanka for so many days. We set off at 5 o'clock in the morning. The local brother had prepared breakfast in advance and packed very delicately. Once opened, it was even more pleasant: two sandwiches, An egg, two sausages, a box of juice, two pineapples carefully wrapped in plastic wrap, and a banana. Originally I only ordered three breakfasts, but when I saw my three-year-old Erbao, the hotel was very considerate. I also prepared a copy for her. Thank you very much. It’s not far from going to the safari park. It takes only 20 minutes. If there is any problem, the water pressure in the bathroom is unstable. Although the water is very large, it will be hot once it gets hot. It’s good to take a shower. In addition, the small bed is not provided with a quilt, just a thin sheet. The air conditioner is too cold and the remote control can’t be adjusted. I wake up several times at night.

Nice rooms overlooking extensive rice paddies. The restaurant and pool were also located so as to overlook the same view. I think most visitors are coming to visit Yala Park. Available material indicated that there were nature hikes and a visit to a place where buffalo curd (yogurt) was produced. However upon inquiry, we were told that the buffalos were gone and that there were no hikes. It would probably be best to remove these suggestions from company material. However we did find a very nice hike through adjacent village back roads. The manager was very nice.

The environment is quite good, facing Lake Tissa, you can watch the sunrise and sunset, it's so beautiful. The dinner options are okay, and the breakfast is because we are going to Safari, the hotel thoughtfully packed it for us to take away, the service is very good!
